It started when it became "Andrew Schulz's Flagrant 2". Frankly, it sometimes feels like Andrew is the once putting in the least effort when they're recording.

Personally, a solo sofa for Aakash with Mark and Alex sitting on the opposite sides of the current long sofa would work better but that's just my opinion. Everything else looks great.
As mentioned by some of the other comments, the three man couch feels a bit crowded but I'm not entirely sure if its because its new. I feel like Akaash should sit on his own couch similar to Andrews, and Mark and Alex can share the three man couch with some space in between them since they both also have "equipment" on them... Love the podcast, y'all just keep crushing it!

Here's my two cents: -The whole set looks like a morning TV show set, has a weird vibe for a podcast. -The lighting seems a bit too professional, it's too dark, seems like I'm watching Netflix or whatever. I think the beauty of podcasts is that it makes you feel like you're in the room and this makes me feel like I'm watching TV. -The trees in the background make it too dark, especially with Akaash siting in that zone, doesn't have much contrast. Sometimes you can't even tell where Akaash's hair finishes and the trees begin. Maybe add a few lights back there illuminating the trees? -The moving camera throws me off as well. It reminds me of "The Green Room with Paul Provenza". Dark studio with a fast moving shaky camera. I could never get into that show because of the way it was filmed, despite having a lot of cool guests and fun conversations. -There's also the issue with Akaash's chair which I'm certain you're all aware by now. Seems like the poor guy is being cornered out of his role, so we would appreciate a place for him in the spotlight. -Andrew seems too rich. Tell him to cut that shit out. Mf dressed like he just went boating. His hair also looks like he just went boating.

Not a big fan of this new layout - looks like a boring talk show, but love the podcast still- I think the best podcasts have a homey look- I really like Bobby Lees setup or Joe Rogan’s setup as it reflects them personally. I think the old studio with the crazy artwork reflected andrew better

Akaash has been relegated to production/semi talent instead of co star, he needs a seat for himself. Right now, the seating hierarchy tells me that this podcast stars Andrew and is supported by the 3 guys to his right. I don’t know what’s going on, maybe Akaash might be subtly trying to decrease his involvement with this project to start his own, that’s possible or maybe the two guys Mark & Alexx have been promoted to co-star status like Akaash. But anyways, the set needs another one or even two seater for guests. So ideally, the set should have 3 single chairs for Andrew, Akaash, guest and a two or three seater for Alexx, Mark plus guest sidekick/extra hype man/production person/partner of guest/etc.

I love you guys but I have to be brutally honest, your sound needs correcting... in the old studio it felt like the viewer was there with you, laughing with you with every joke and I have never laughed harder watching a podcast than with all you guys! However, in this episode the sound fades in and out and it just feels disconnected with us, the viewers. Also I think you need to get rid of the sofa and have your own seats. I think you're right here because the camera angles keep changing with the laughs. With the old setup you stayed with the laugh as Andrew and Akaash were always in the picture.

I watched Flagrant 2 while I was working, simply because it was lit. Please do something about it. The background will put me to sleep. I’d appreciate if Aakash gets his own chair.

I'm with everyone on a individual chair for Akaash. Only tricky thing is where to place him. Having a guest between the speakers (i.e. Tim Dillon ep.) makes it hard for the co-host to interact with the guest. My 2 cents: Current setup works if Akaash and Andrew are on the couch with the guest being on the individual chair. Regardless this is an upgrade! Looking forward to more updates and changes, don't think y'all have to fully scrap like Joe's first Austin studio.
Did you guys get an interior designer to look at this or even concept at all? Things like graffiti, clutter, wild posters, props etc... I feel like if this is the type of over the top show that lives for flagrancy the set should reinforce the energy... kind of like Kanye when he's creating an album, set the mood! This just feels too professional, we've seen it all before, this set looks fancy, regal, and high class, three things I'd never describe any of you by! Here's my two cents:
-The whole set looks like a morning TV show set, has a weird vibe for a podcast.
-The lighting seems a bit too professional, it's too dark, seems like I'm watching Netflix or whatever. I think the beauty of podcasts is that it makes you feel like you're in the room and this makes me feel like I'm watching TV.
-The trees in the background make it too dark, especially with Akaash siting in that zone, doesn't have much contrast. Sometimes you can't even tell where Akaash's hair finishes and the trees begin. Maybe add a few lights back there illuminating the trees?
-The moving camera throws me off as well. It reminds me of "The Green Room with Paul Provenza". Dark studio with a fast moving shaky camera. I could never get into that show because of the way it was filmed, despite having a lot of cool guests and fun conversations.
-There's also the issue with Akaash's chair which I'm certain you're all aware by now. Seems like the poor guy is being cornered out of his role, so we would appreciate a place for him in the spotlight.
-Andrew seems too rich. Tell him to cut that shit out. Mf dressed like he just went boating. His hair also looks like he just went boating.

Akaash has been relegated to production/semi talent instead of co star, he needs a seat for himself. Right now, the seating hierarchy tells me that this podcast stars Andrew and is supported by the 3 guys to his right. I don’t know what’s going on, maybe Akaash might be subtly trying to decrease his involvement with this project to start his own, that’s possible or maybe the two guys Mark & Alexx have been promoted to co-star status like Akaash. But anyways, the set needs another one or even two seater for guests. So ideally, the set should have 3 single chairs for Andrew, Akaash, guest and a two or three seater for Alexx, Mark plus guest sidekick/extra hype man/production person/partner of guest/etc.
You can tell this is Andrew’s thing and no one else’s.

I love you guys but I have to be brutally honest, your sound needs correcting... in the old studio it felt like the viewer was there with you, laughing with you with every joke and I have never laughed harder watching a podcast than with all you guys! However, in this episode the sound fades in and out and it just feels disconnected with us, the viewers. Also I think you need to get rid of the sofa and have your own seats. The studio looks great, the bar and the sky light look awesome! I truly want you to succeed whilst keeping the essence of the Flagrancy we all love! Nil Satis Nisi Optimium!

I'm with everyone on a individual chair for Akaash. Only tricky thing is where to place him. Having a guest between the speakers (i.e. Tim Dillon ep.) makes it hard for the co-host to interact with the guest. My 2 cents: Current setup works if Akaash and Andrew are on the couch with the guest being on the individual chair. Regardless this is an upgrade! Looking forward to more updates and changes, don't think y'all have to fully scrap like Joe's first Austin studio.

This is a Messy, scatterbrained, extravaganza of comedians who really push the line in todays atmosphere of taboo culture!
