Louie went around doing this to a lot of the Rogan sycophants, too. Whenever Louis CK and Bill Burr show up on these podcasts you just see such a big difference. I don't know if it's cause these guys come from podcasting or not - you have people like Shane Gillis who seem to fit in a bit better with the older guys but the likes of Schultz and some of Rogan's guys like Kreishner just seem cut from a lesser cloth

I think Andrew expected this to be “one of the boys” type of conversation but Louis came in and flustered him. I don’t think it was on purpose, it’s just his type of humour and observational style but Andrew wasn’t expecting it at all for some reason. He keeps on trying to fluster Louis in return and that’s where the tension we feel is coming from.
The more genuine and real Andrew gets the better the interview feels until Andrew again tries to make a jab 😂😂

Very poignant for me to hear Louis talk about how his comedy doesn't work as well when he's smug and confident when Andrew made the comment about it feeling like it's "falling out" of him. Pretty cool to think about from a stand up perspective. I once heard Shane Gillis talk about how masterful Louis is at adjusting his tone and the material he delivers to win the crowd back when he's working out new material and this added new perspective to that. Really shows how deep of a person Louis truly is. An amazing man. While we've all done wrong that we should confront and own up to, nobody has faced public humiliation for their wrong doing at the level Louis has and countered it with honesty and dignity. Not to discount his wrong doings, I think they're lesser than a lot of other "cancelled" people we've seen, but still worthy of negative acknowledgement.. that being said Louis is the only person who was cancelled at the caliber he was and acknowledged it with honesty and clarity. His statements didn't gain him much from the court of public opinion, but it 100% made me retain loyalty and upmost respect for this man and his craft. Cheers to one of the greatest to ever do it. I hope he continues to share his art with us.
