The graphics on these cars is outstanding! Looks like a lot of work by some talented people. Seems a shame to ruin it.

I hate seeing cool old cars destroyed as well, but what else can be done with them?

Do Supras not command the pricetags in the UK that they do in the US? You can't touch a beater here for under $20k USD. They could have sold it and I guarantee someone would have had it on a boat. Too bad.

Great video... Is it just me that thinks they shouldn't be allowed to spin the cars round and then randomly pick people off with head ons?
Seems very daft to me, especially for those who want to actually race a bit and especially in the world final.
RC Fun Everyday i think it definitely ads something to nights like these where everything is about racing. Otherwise we wouldn't have this much action. You need to be smart to win and look very good when you are going to steer. It is more intense now.
RC Fun Everyday Im pretty sure the rules of a Banger race is either someone completes a certain number of laps first (like a regular race) or the last vehicle left running wins. I could be wrong on this but I'm pretty sure that's how Banger Races work.
a banger meeting normally consists of 4 races, 2 15 lap races, one 25 lap final and one demolition derby at the end of the night
I understand how it works it's just seems underhand to me, someone putting all that effort in and aiming to win to just be wrote off on potentially the first lap... I do know how it works though and everyone knows what they're getting into, I just like to see more cars last until the DD
the paint work and prep is all for the attention, and not everyone is out to win, some would like to but when they know theres no chance they just try to stop the other teams or drivers from finishing or the best ones go out with no chance of winning and crash from the start

Such a waste of good cars especially the Granadas you have to have been dropped at birth to wanna race these. Get a Mondeo instead
Mike Stacey not when you know the state of the cars where when they were found. The granada that made a head on in the final was so rotten that a granada enthousiast sold it to the driver because it was not worth it to restore the car.

This is obviously a demo derby, so why do they put so much effort in presentation? Makes no sense at all. And neither does the whole event?
And how do they get liability insurance?
LDN Wholesale its not a demo derby, its bangerracing. If you pay enough you'll get an insurance for everything you want..

Supra's are used pretty often, especially the mk1. The newer types are raced every now and then
