    I was using p-3 profile on the images I make with procreate which printed beautifully before. They changed it to RGB. No matter what I tried I had poor results. Thank you for your color profile and tutorials.

    This is for Apple products. Do you have a video for how to install icc profiles on windows?

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! While we don't appear to have a video covering that, it's pretty easy on a Windows computer. Once you've downloaded the ICC profile, right-click on it, select "Install Profile," and that should do it. If you need additional help, our PRO-series printer support team will be happy to help. You can reach them Monday through Friday at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666).
      Hope this helps!

    Right clicking an .icc profile file on Windows 10 and selecting "Install Profile" brings up an error dialog box with the following message: "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action..."

      Hi, Donal! The printer you've got does not appear to be supported by Canon USA. For further help, we recommend contacting the Canon company that supports the part of the world your printer was intended for sale in. You can find them by visiting canon.us/globalsupport and clicking on the map.

    finally some real information on canon printers. I've looked at your web site to find some video help and it didn't work out so well. I just stumble across this on TH-cam. There is one guy who seems to know his stuff but he dislikes Mac. I have a Pro 10 now but thinking to upgrade to the pro-1000. However, I had told myself if I could find good information on this printer today it would be time to look at Epson brand printer. I found you so here goes nothing. My fingers a cross!

    How to print if the custom ICC profile is embedded in the image? Should I tell Photoshop that the printer manages the colors and in the Print dialog under ICM choose "None". Will this mean that the image is being sent to the printer as it is, and because the correct profile is already embedded in the image, the outcome will be same as if I applied the profile to the raw file? The printer is Pixma Pro 10s.

I put manually in the Windows folder and If I click "other" it doesn't show all the profiles that already are in that folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color ... I use Lightroom version 9.2.1 on a windows 10... Can you help me?!

    Just that quick. Just that simple. Maybe not. I have a PC. Went to the MOAB site and downloaded a profile to my desktop. Right click the install. (Nothing tells you your done or it was a successful install.) The profile does not seem to shoe up in your Professional Print and Layout program/plug-in. The only place it shows up is if I use Photoshop to print. Letting the Photoshop Manage Color. I select the printer profile and there is the Moab profile midway down amongst 100 of other types of profiles including monitor profiles. Where did I go wrong?
