I think you're onto something! I've sold quite a lot of small pieces. Not enough money to live on, but its all my collectors have and its so wonderful that they like what I do and want to own something. Commissions too, but those are not hard sometimes for obvious reasons. But I am aware that all the greats of art history lived off commissions, so I am grateful. But to find even one wealthy collector would be gold!
My mother used to do this 40+ years ago amd you couldn't imagine the repeat business she would get from hand made jewely and antiques... Not to mention the presents I got as a child from all over the world . Just a simple hand written thank you note ! ❤🎉
Probably a silly question. Why not get a group of artists to print their own art collectors magazine, I mean they are creatives, featuring their group work using a service like amazon KDP. Proceed with asking the collector permission for photos and supply him with 50 expensively priced glossy magazines for him/her to have as keepsakes and give to their friends. Each magazine contains contact details and a subscription page. I once got an air steward to leave catalogues of my art exhibition with contact details(I had dozens left over, it was an abysmal failure) in the free magazines on the seats of private jet charters, ultra-long-haul first-class suites, and private cabin suites. But the best results were from those left in the VIP lounges of International Yacht Shows by bribing poorly paid waitresses.
wow I love that, never heard of this. "best results were from those left in the VIP lounges of International Yacht Shows by bribing poorly paid waitresses" There truly are so many ways to get the eyeballs.
@@driesketels Rolls Royce stopped doing as many car fairs and started exhibiting at yacht shows. Their cars are expensive, but it's chump change for people who buy multimillion yachts.
So true ! Like the difference between a good service in a restaurant vs. bad service . You don't even remember the meal but you remember the experience. ❤
Here is a thank you note for the information and inspiration you give me. I was wondering about your lightning art, how many have you made? I think they are awesome and maby you could even go next level with them.
Hey, maybe I could have a dinner reception about Jesus. I love him so much. And I could sell paintings about him. He came to me in a dream once and gave to me important information relative to my life. I heard that many people who have had near death experiences met him at that time and that it was life changing and made them a believer. Even some from other religions said they met Jesus during their near death experience and they were converted. Thank you so much for this great advice. God bless You Brother and much success and happiness to you.
If a piece of art doesn't talk to the buyer, a piece of paper isn't going to close the sale. You don't respect the buyers. Have you ever sold anything?

@@driesketels that is epic guerilla marketing.
Awesome suggestion! Many thanks 🙏
People don’t always remember what you do for them, but always how you make them feel.

you made some good points but did I miss something? What was on the piece of paper? What was the piece of art? I want to see!?
Brilliant.
Ha ha, I love your approach.
you're welcome

Thanks... I would need to check how many exactly but a couple dozen for sure. Nice to read your comments from time to time cookie!
@@driesketels a couple of dozen.. awesome!
I have lots of other artworks and other complete series. This was actually one of the earliest series I've done.
Where can we find this art? would love to see them
@@TheLimitlessCode where indeed. All bullshit

Wait... Did you just promote spirit cookig? Ok....not sure if I would have put that up

Apologies, but what's the point... can somebody summarize

one does not exclude the other... Just do both... and care about the customer and sell properly
Idiotic word salad. Total clickbait. Unsubscribed. 😢
