    Great video - am loving these bread maker tutorials!! Just in case anyone reads this (and for your future reference) you always want to put the ingredients in the order they’re listed in the recipe!! This is important to make sure your dough processes correctly and almost always your yeast will go in last - you don’t want it mixing with the salt or sugar right away. The Russell Hobbs bread maker recipe booklet puts numbers by each ingredient and those numbers represent the order in which they should be introduced into the loaf tin ☺️

      Great advice, it did confuse me when he went in with the wet stuff first ;o) Seems to have worked either way but personally I added the yeast last as when researching some machines even had separate yeast dispensers etc.

    Try Wrights Sun dried tomato and cheese 500g ready mix for bread machines. Lovely Jubbly. I get that from Sainsburys.

    What a very helpful and informative video; thank you! I’ve been reading about all the weird additives that are in supermarket loaves like emulsifiers and stuff, so I’m keen to make my own without any of them in it and after watching your video, you have inspired me to buy one and get on with it.
    Thanks again and keep up the good work!

    Hey
    New to your channel.make bread several times weekly in a bread machine.
    So surprised that it did so well since the ingredients were add incorrectly. Please read the instructions again. I’m sure they will tell you how to add the ingredients and how to remove the pan.
    Can’t wait for the sun dried tomato recipe. Thank you.

    How did it taste? Do you still use a bread maker? The video looked like it had different shades of colour in the loaf.
    Was thinking of getting one as bread never lasts to the next weekly shop, so we're always short!

    Out of curiosity, does it have a pause option or anything? Would love to have the ability to remove the paddle before it proves/cooks.

    • @RobGregory
      @RobGregory 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It doesn't but there is nothing stopping you from opening the lid at the right point and removing the paddle - the lid doesn't lock or anything and the paddle was a pain in the bottom ;o) At a guess just wait for the long pause once the mixing is done and remove it quickly?
      Was planning on getting mine out to make some Pizza dough so will try a bread and see how it goes with removing it...

      You can remove the paddle before the bread bakes ,after the last prove

    Just bought one of these after owning previous bread makers .The only snag with this model is on program 8 sandwhich bread there is no option for crust browness only loaf size. It states in manual sandwhich program has the browness setting but its a mis print the program only gives loaf size. My sandwhich bread comes out just nice but option to make it browner would be nice..basic bread has this option..
    I am referring to crust clour setting sandwhich does not have but in manual it states it does ??

    Salt actually kills yeast , yeast goes on after the flour

    Do not do not mix yeast with salt or sugar it loses its effectivity order is water and salt and sugar first thn flour and yeast and the rest of ingridiants
    Always separate salt sugar and yeast using flour in between 😊😁✌️specialy when using a timer .

    • @emma-d7534

      Sugar is okay but salt will kill the yeast

    • @True_Blood_89
      @True_Blood_89 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeast needs warm water and sugar to activate. It won't activate properly without either. Salt is the problem
