    This has got to be one of the best (IMHO) looking Lexuses I've ever seen.
    Way better than what BMW's been bringing out lately. But $128,000 is unacceptable.

    The new LX600 is nice for what you get very nice in fact for someone who wants old school luxury and not a lot of tech. But it definitely is missing some key feature/options that you would definitely expect in a luxury SUV. Like having multiple interior color options. This is major especially for people like me who like lighter interiors. At least can we have a beige color like the previous generation. Especially since this is the ultra-Luxury. And a pano sunroof that’s would also be nice to have especially this is a family SUV and a pano sunroof that should I be already included or an option. It’s a nice luxury SUV but Lexus missed out on some features that you would definitely expect on a 130k vehicle. I mean you would fine most do these features on a 52k Toyota Highlander platinum. And even the cheaper but same platform Sequoia.

    I’ve yet to watch an LX600 Ultra Luxury video where it’s reviewed as what it’s intended to be used as. “Sedan Service”, all limo companies have a Sedan Service that are generally used by CEO’s to commute to work or meetings. There’s no luxury up front because the hired help is the only driver. The owner or client will always be seated in the right rear, always.

    • @christopheredale
      @christopheredale ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is the most important comment on this video.. everyone's commenting as if the focus is the driver with a potential family of 4. No, this vehicle has more features in the rear than front seats (wireless charging pad in the rear only, massaging captain chairs, again, in the rear only). This SUV is for the wealthy who willingly ride in the backseat! They don't want the driver to have the best features because the back seat rider is usually who owns the damn thing lol

  • @sly9263
    @sly9263 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Steering wheel and seats are always great with Lexus. This console is a jumbled mess and looks like a mid-model refresh rather than a new design. The gauge cluster is a mess too- both areas are obvious cost cutting, which you really shouldn't do for a vehicle that asks $100k and has competition that comparatively blows it out of the water. People beating the drivetrain reliability drum have to silence themselves since the port injected V8 is gone and now replaced by dual direct and port + turbos; it's the same as everything else now. The interior is barely bigger than a midsize SUV, which admittedly is due to the fact it's designed for offroad. Bottom line, this was a halfass upgrade from the new Landcruiser 300 but hopefully it gets cleaned up a good bit over the next 5-10 years to where it becomes a real value proposition.

    • @deeh3191
      @deeh3191 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would have thought they would come with Michelin or Bridgestone (usually their higher end tire brands), or even Pirelli or Continental as this is their most premium model. Lexus models come with Dunlop on base trims (Lexus NX base model = Dunlop, higher = Bridgestone or Michelin). But this is their ultra luxury car… bet most owners will take them off asap

    Poor space and practicality
