In this video, we start at Kirchbrücke (church bridge), and walk through and around the kirchstraase and Oberdorfstrasse streets towards the south region of the village before reaching to the Gorner Gorge (Gornerschlucht) and then walk back towards Zermatt main train station. You have really captured the beauty of Zermatt and the majestic Matterhorn, the village stands still in time. My last visit I found the best rotisserie chicken restaurant, a small place across from the museum but sadly (according to Google maps) it has closed likely due to covid. I hope travel gets easier with time since I really miss Switzerland, your video does however bring back fond memories of past travel. Thank you my friend.

I hope the terrible flooding in June 2024 hasn’t caused too much damage ,it must be so disheartening for the people who have lost their homes and businesses not only in Zermatt but also across the region. On a happier note I love these walks ❤.

I love Switzerland, I've been to Zermatt 3- 4 times in the winter for skiing but I would love to go back in the summer, it is such a beautiful country. one sad truth is that the Matterhorn is shrinking due to global warming, I've noticed the difference from the 1st time (Jan 1998) I was there, to the last (Feb 2012) & our guide who lives there year round brought it to our attention.. so please do your part & ♻️ and leave a small 👣 ✌️❤️🙏
