One should listen to all of DAY6's tracks, because there's always hidden gems in the album that you'll like more than title track (here are some examples: Man in a Movie, I Need Somebody, Better Better, Colors, Blood, Hunt). I love how they make you tag along.

Shoot Me is the perfect title track for the album, it's catchy, short, has great energy and no filler parts and I think it's the easiest to listen to. I agree with you about Somehow, I love it. I think this is their best release yet, some of the every day 6 songs were definitely weaker than others, but every song here is strong.
Something that stood out to me was that in the beginning of “Feeling Good”, the synth strings had almost the exact same melody as the melody in the pre chorus of “I Wait”
Yes! Listening to DAY6's albums is such a joy! I loved this album (was a bit confused at the beginning cause you skipped the first track), it's so much fun! From the first track to the last one - it's a whole journey which I greatly enjoyed. I loved the title track a lot, but I think my favorite song here is Warning (or maybe Talking To, I just can't choose, they're all good lol). I'm totally not sure but I had the impression that, the melody from Warning's (close to the chorus 10:35) reminded me a bit of One Ok Rock's Deeper Deeper :o Also, same as you Umu, it took me a while to completely like and get used to Shoot me, because it's so different from their usual style! But I ended up liking it a lot, and I'm super happy they're getting out of their 'confort zone', if I can say that, so yeah!
