We set out to do an EPIC Mountain Hiking Trail with our dogs in Mt. Hood Oregon. The Husky Squad loved playing in the alpine meadows off leash on this dog friendly Oregon trail. Hiking with a dog is a special experience and we know you’ll love this beautiful, relaxing nature therapy videos with calming music and this travel vlog without talking.
We did this epic hiking mountain trail during the summer months in Mt. Hood Oregon (near Portland) It’s a challenging loop trail in the higher elevation of Mt Hood’s wilderness. OUR GOAL was to reach the last bit of snow near the mountain top before the Summer’s end. This hike turned out to be one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve done in our life. We trailed through enchanted forests, babbling creeks, open meadows full of summer wildflowers, and stunning views of Mt. Hood - this hike had it all! Enjoy this nature therapy and let us know if you want more of these videos.
CAUTION: If you hike this loop, be prepared for a tough descent after reaching the meadows. During the descent, our filming equipment was safely packed away to avoid any damage from slips and falls.

this whole video is just so beautiful but my favorite part was 4:30 like that little area with the trees around it that the dogs could just run around in. I could stay there for hours

Your videography is gorgeous. You really have an eye for great shots and smooth views without a lot of jumping even though you are active and even hiking and running. Seriously beautiful and the pups are so well behaved that’s it’s a joy to watch them.

What a wonderful video. I appreciate your stating that Siberians need special training to be off leash as in the video as well as requesting viewers to adopt a rescue dog. These are very well-trained dogs if they can hike this well off leash. My family and I are in the process of adopting a rescue dog, and the Rescue director was adamant about never letting them off lease since most of the rescue Siberians she takes in escaped from their owners by digging under or jumping over a backyard fence.

Awww. So precious. I have a husky myself who I adopted with the intent of having a hiking partner, but due to poor genetics, he has arthritis at the young age of 2 years and unfortunately can’t join me on my longer hikes as planned. My buddy will always be walking in spirit though! Our short walks are still great ones

I've just post a comment on instagram, but I forgot to ask you about that thing that you carry on your backpack that they use for drinking water, it looks very useful for the hikes! Also the leads you use for them looks great.For now we have just our beautiful Runa, maybe next year we search for a sister or brother for her, I hope she builds a great bond with her or him, as the husky squad. Any way you could do a video on how you trained to introduced your huskies to off leash? I've seen a few and I've implemented it with my husky. She's great with a long leash but once she's off she leash she doesn't listen. I know that daily practice is needed. Just wanted to see if you have any tips. Thank you! Keep it up,I love your videos!
