- The Ghostbusters used the mandala to figure out that the Sedgewick hotel is one of the key locations gathering up the spiritual energy that Ivo Shandor's end-of-the-world project requires, so they head there to shut the place down.

The appearance of the webbed fiends was one heck of a jumpscare!
This truly earns its place as Ghostbusters 3. Like the movies, it has its moments where things are funny, moments where things are spooky, and its few moments where things take a turn for the really fucked up. However in terms of the fucked up, this takes the cake. GB1 had people getting possessed by demon spirits. GB2, unless I’m missing another worse moment, had the attempt of the ritual with a child. Yes, both movies also mentioned that their respective antagonists did some really messed up shit in life and this game is not an exception. However, unlike with GB1 and 2, the fucked up shit that was done by one of the antagonists is shown in the psychic distortion. Having dead bodies hung upside down while wrapped in webs. That’s messed up. Granted seeing it during the time it actually happened was likely worse.
Playing this video game level was not only tough and challenging but frightening. At first I didn't want to finish the game level but I realized that I couldn't back out of it and chicken out. So I finished the level like a man.

Am I the only one that would set the whole Sedgewick Hotel on fire? Then, get asked, "Why did you set the hotel on fire?" My Answer: "Spiders...a shit load of spiders....and the Spider Queen. I had to save the mortal realm!"
As much as I’d like to brave the storm… yeah, probably me.
Finally in the beginning of this area again you see harm less for once in a while

LL X We'll Peck was the guy who Shut down their Containment Grid in the 1st Movie. Releasing every Supernatural Creature the Ghostbusters has ever Caught to run Loose in NYC. I Mean why Shouldn't Egon hate his Ass?
I mean he was the 1st to dive after Peck when he arrested them whilst also shouting *"YOUR MOTHER!"*

This game should have been the third movie you know what I'm going to deny the remake happened and instead that the creators made the video game because they could not find a way to put this idea into a movie

The music is so creepy and scary very horror movie stuff
The kitchen and going to the 13th floor with Egon in the dark was very scary. Especially hearing echoes of voices in the kitchen.

@@shawnswint1521 Yeah Ghostbusters really ventured into the horror territory with this level. The scary bits from the movies doesn’t come close to a hotel filled with webs and wrapped up dead bodies.
@@AzureMoebius22 I Keep Coming back to how Magnificent a Job The Developers Did with that Level. It was Dark, Claustrophobic, Had Plenty of Webs & The Spider Witch was just plain Terrifying.

They consider 13 to be an unlucky number. So they skip it

This level was a lack of imagination on the developers. Same level repeated but uglier.

Not really, the spider section was awesome and it’s cool to have residual hauntings like in real life. Or the fact that ghosts can haunt the same place. Also… ghost pants.
Plenty of games have you return to the same location. The events in the location are what matter.
