This is seriously underrated, it has a lot of potential, add way more game modes and with Sony's backlog of characters, they can make it great for a sequel

I think that some swapping characters may work for the sequel, with newer titles of devs who have partnered with Playstation; and it may include Marvel content, and a few critically acclaimed titles with little to no surprise. These swaps should conclude to the removal of Capcom, Namco, and Konami characters, since a lot of time has passed. It may also be embarrassing to say this, but Crash may not enter, due to the Xbox partnership with Activision; when Crash also had a string of games for Playstation consoles, dating back from the first one, excluding prototypes, alongside negative fan reactions **embarrassing whoa**. However, there may be Genshin Impact content in the game, thanks to the game being all exclusive to Playstation, for consoles on PS4 and PS5; despite the game requirements, and freemium concepts.

With the PS5 coming later this year, a sequel to this game would be a great early title, but the gameplay needs polish and it desperately needs a stronger roster. I propose that the roster include every fighter from the first game plus the following:
- Crash Bandicoot
- Spyro
- Lara Croft
- Knack
- Dante as he appears in the early DMC games
- Amaterasu from Ōkami
- Dart from Legend of Dragoon
- Rayman
- Ezio from Assassin's Creed II
- Prince of Persia
- a Final Fantasy rep besides Cloud (who is already in Smash), like Sephiroth or Tidus
- a Resident Evil rep, like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy
- a RockStar rep, like John Marston or Niko Bellic
While SSB has a more fleshed out array of modes and mechanics, I love the vibe and cast of characters in this game.
Even if people argue that some of these guys are not PlayStation exclusive, they are still an epic addition, especially Big Daddy (my personal favourite).
This game just feels slightly more comfortable and entertaining to me than SSB (but I respect those who favour SSB more, because, well, better mechanics and content, along with iconic Nintendo/Sega/etc. characters)

I think this game should get a sequel in a few years. It failed in some aspects, such as having only one mode to play, but it had some good ideas and was fun to play for a limited amount of hours. I just hope they add a lot of new ways to play it as well as more characters from games or series iconic to playstation such as Cloud (Final Fantasy), Alucard (Castlevania), Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the dragon, Solid Snake (Metal Gear), Wander (Shadow of the Colossus), Joel (The Last of Us), CJ (GTA) and Albert Wesker or Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil)
Wasn't Snake in Smash? And Cloud is in Smash as well.
Yeah I really hope this game gets a well deserved sequel. Too bad the developers of the game won't be working on it after Santa Monica took over.

Seriously I was skeptical about getting at first but it is so addictive. What a fantastic game. Just need more depth in terms of characters and maps. Too bad DLC support has ended. Absolutely fantastic game.

Ayy Lmao What’s funny is that it actually looked like that in the early version of the 2012 game. I’m glad they changed it though. It looks cooler and the transformation makes more sense in the final version.

I think this is a very fun game to play!
2019 and still an awesome game, even though I prefer the Super Smash Bros series, it was so cool! Also, either I'm crazy or I wanna see a character from the roster of this game become a SSBU DLC fighter (Despite being Sony only and not having a single Nintendo game), it would bring some unique stuff the the series!

The fact that this is referenced in God of War Ragnarok means that it’s technically canon in Krato’s lore.
Only Kratos does not want to talk about it, which is basically commentary that Sony does not want to mention this game for any reason other than to bash it.
Tbh, if this game used Health bars instead of demanding super moves to score points, it wouldve been perfection.

These specials are clearly unbalanced. Some characters have level 3 specials that KO only once while others can rack alot of KO's in level 2 alone. This wouldn't be a problem if it isn't the only method of KOing characters.

I don't see a single franchise taking up more than 50% the roster (ehem ehem, Fire Emblem characters)
There's 83 characters in Smash. FE only has 8 which is more like 10% of the roster not even close to 50%. The main issues is that most of that half of the FE roster is clones of Marth. 4 Marths was overkill but Byleth, Robin, Ike, and Corrin all have unique movesets.
I agree though that PS All-Stars isn't a Smash clone. This game is underrated.

The bioshock one is my favourite he music makes you feels sorrowfull even greifed but when you those eyes go red you know big daddy has lost all emotions (don't take it out of context) and he will do what he must to listen to his boss example he says "Remove them from my property or I will burn it to the ground" he has been poisend by obeying EVERYTHING
