These videos are intriguing to watch, but if you ever ask yourself, "Why am I watching this, how banal and pointless", just remember that this is basically WWI.
And RA2 Britain here is pretty much how the war went for WWI Britain
I'd argue that it's more like Napoleonic period "Rank and file" warfare than WW1, but you are in the ballpark.

@@feliscorax Yeah that was I was referring to. The most professional army at the start of the war, but at war's end that army is gone and replaced by draftees and conscripts.

Of course, although WW1 showed the result of underestimating machine gun fire, it also *overestimated* the effect of artillery; the marching across No Man's Land usually followed tube artillery barrages that were supposed to cut the wires and other fortifications as well as decimate opposition troops
Still, it's not as if some militaries have repeated that mistake, or believed that air power could do the same, so we don't see military strategists believing a good shelling or bombing will make the infantry's job a cakewalk like that at Monte Casino, Korea or Viet Nam
I feel the issue with the last ones is how the pathfinding does its job. If the Conscripts weren't directed to their original path, they'd win because they'd fill in the rank where needed. Still, the Wall of Guns shows just how good it is once again.

Lol i imagine that's kinda what u get when u clapped a (arguably elite) soldier with so much training while you're basically just a regular ivan that basically got drafted
it's so weird that this game is still studied to this day. they don't make them like they used to. this is probably the last of the great creative games that had that energy of the 90s.
The problem with modern games is that they take longer to develop and require more funds than they used to so if they try new ideas they'd risk much more than they used to, that being said indie games seem to be doing well with the innovation part

This one was more nerve racking then i had anticipated
Truth told, the biggest problem for the snipers is that they aren't all able to fire. Most of them go through the animation like they're going to, and then don't actually get to because they're targeting one that already got shot. If the snipers were all in one line, all they would have to do is fire 8 times and the conscripts would all drop dead. Numerically they should win every round. They lose only because of how they're set up.
This setup actually is giving a huge advantage to the Conscripts, and they still lose.
If the snipers were spread out in a straight line it would be benefit the conscripts to group up in one giant clump so they can take the line out part by part. Also eight times is still a lot. Those veteran conscripts with their improved speed were already ranging the snipers before they shot six times. Elite snipers gain the edge again because self-heal makes them more durable while they still one-shot an elite conscript.
Round 2 went as I expected but I didn't think Sniper would win Elite not once but twice. Pathfinding definitely played a factor though.

Britain is underrated in competitive play. Sniper IFV hard counters Soviet and Yuri infantry/slaves.

yeah it's really weird. I'd like to see it again. Why do you think it is so different? maybe the sniper has a slower rate of fire and the conscripts have a faster speed?
@@SlumberBear2k Elite snipers receive a massive boost to rate of fire so RoF should be the main factor here.
@@SlumberBear2k sniper veterans have increased damage more than health or attack speed, which isn't very useful against Conscripts. This means that in terms of killing power, it is little more than normal. Meanwhile Conscript veterans do significantly more damage, more than the health increase snipers get from veterancy, and so are simply able to clear the snipers faster. Plus, Conscripts achieve max rank FAR more easily than snipers, and each one of those does even moar damage, and the move faster.
But max rank for snipers gives them a HUGE attack speed buff. Still, apparently a max rank Conscript can survive a max ranked sniper shot, so which one wins is very much based on pathing, it seems.
Veteran unit gets a 10% attack power increase and a whopping 50% HP increase. The 50% increase to conscript HP allow them to take 2 sniper shot instead of one. Veteran unit also gets 20% rate of fire; but that's not enough for snipers to win. As others said, elite snipers get a huge ROF increase.
UK snipers with AWP/AWM sound, no problem; that sniper rifle family are made in UK.

It seems like the conscripts did not die by British arctic warfare magnum. They died because when ones at the front row was fallen, the following ones in the back row overran / kicked or stomped their fallen comrades in the front. Some of them were stumbled or impeded by their comrade’s corpse and shot when they struggled to stand up. 😂🤣😝

Every unit in the game gets a linear boost from promotion while Conscripts get a quadratic boost lol
All units get the same boost. The reason the veteran conscripts do so well against the snipers is the speed boost part. The snipers get less shots off.

In a same cost battle, conscripts will do better. A sniper IFV is twice to cost for only a fraction of the benefits

The same price as an Iraqi Desolator, but it performed not-so-great, and the sniper will likewise perform poorly if rushed, but a Desolator will take a load of enemies first before falling. Those Desolators are still way overpowered.

So, when did people realise that the UK in Ukraine (UK-raine) was obvious?
If the Brexit Snipers have their AWP rifles being replaced with the Conscripts' M1Carbine/E in rules.ini/rulesmd.ini, therefore it would be just like the rifle soldier that was used by both Allies and Soviets in the first Red Alert game... (How honest Britain never won a "special military operation" IRL since the Falklands War...)
Perhaps a next video request: Rhino tanks v Tank Destroyers with the deployed Siege Chopper's 155mm/E weapon...
