I'd like to point out that there are ancestors of American slaves, not so much in Arab slaves.
Western slavery was based on agriculture, creating a work force. 2 men 1 woman.
Arab slavery was based on sex. 2 women 1 man (who is castrated including penis ) which led to infection and a very high death rate.

I share the loathing of slavery and the enslavers, because they did it to my ancient white ancestors and close enough forebears from the time of the y syyc son (Saxon) invasion onwards to the modern era (disguised as keeping children safe by sending them without their mothers to Australia during WWII), and I bet a lot of those bloodlines are behind most modern day slavery of all races except their own, including of little children for the worst of purposes, for all centuries since they invaded first of all ethnic France then us in what was Albion and Alba (Britain).

A word about reparations. They are a bankers business model to collect the loan of their fiat money plus interest with the real value of our cheap and slave labour and taxes for generations to come. Never repaid or if any fake loan and therefore fake interest is repaid after 5 or 6 generations, they decide on more reparations to be borrowed from themselves. Replayed by everyone of all colours who pay obvious and hidden taxes. Who doesn't pay taxes somewhere at some time? The royals? No. They reclaim their taxes. Then they can say they pay too. When talking about history care should be taken to portray facts clear as possible without leaving room for ambiguity.
1. In your video there are places where it uses the word “Islamic” although very little and there are a lot of “Arab” used to discuss the slave trade. The slave trade existed before the advent of Islam in the Arabian peninsula. Before Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was born, slaves and slavery existed. When he was made a prophet though and in the 23 years of his prophethood, there were laid rules through revelation concerning different issues eg; the pagan Arabs used to bury infant girls alive, this was completely prohibited with the advent of Islam, capturing free people and selling them as slaves is completely prohibited, how slaves come about, how they are treated and freeing them, every single thing has rules that you don’t find anywhere in history except in Islam.
2. In Islam, slavery comes about through fighting in the cause of Allah (I.e Jihad). And Jihad has rules and conditions, what the likes of ISIS and BokoHaram does is not Jihad. For the first condition of Jihad is that the Muslims must be under an Amir (leader of the Muslims). Jihad is not permissible for individuals and groups to cause mayhem while claiming Jihad, these are unislamic (I can share proof if you like).
3. So to make it clear without any apology, slavery exists in Islam and would exist until the last hour. It’s only through legitimate Jihad under the Amir that Jihad can be done, we do not have an Amir for the Muslims right now, so anyone claiming to be doing Jihad isn’t actually doing Jihad.
4.It is allowed to have sexual intercourse with slave women whom your right hand possess. It is not permissible to maltreat them, harm them, torture them or even castrate them. People may have done this, before Islam, but it isn’t permitted in Islam. One of the most virtuous of deeds is freeing slaves and there are numerous narrations about how, you should feed and cloth your slaves with what you eat and clothe yourself with and how rewarding it is to free them. Several prominent people in Islam, like Bilal ibn Rabah (may Allah be pleased with him) who used to call the adhan (call to prayer) was a freed slave. Many narrators of Hadith were freed slaves.
5.The point I’m trying to make is that, any sincere person who reads Islamic history knows that there is a clear distinction between the Islamic ruling involving slaves and slavery, these Islamic rulings cannot be found in any place on earth other than in Islam. What the Arabs did before the advent of Islam cannot be lumped together with Islam.
I will share some evidences from the speech of Allah (i.e Qur’an) and the Sunnah of his messenger (peace be upon him) on the issue of slavery in Islam.
But he has not attempted to pass on the path that is steep (i.e. the path which will lead to goodness and success).
And what will make you know the path that is steep?
(It is) freeing a neck (slave)

He said, "For Barira it is alms, but for us it is a present."

Economic reasons. The UK became wealthy through toil and it continues to exploit the resources and labour that many of these migrants and refugees come from. The second the UK and other western countries remove their companies from the countries which the migrants are fleeing from there countries will improve dramatically and the UK regress.
