- THIS IS MY MJX 14302 HYPER GO 1/14 SCALE I THOUGHT ID MAKE A VIDEO BECAUSE THERE ISNT TO MUCH INFO AROUND ON THESE.
I TOUCH ON SOME ISSUES IM HAVING WITH IT AND SOME UPGRADES TO THE TYRES IVE DONE.
ALLROUND GREAT RC CAR I HIGHLY SUGGEST GRABBING ONE FOR ONROAD TARMAC OR LIGHT GRAVEL OFFROAD RALLY.
IVE HAD THIS UNDER A MONTH AND MAINLY USE IT FOR TARMAC RACING WITH A 3S LIPO WITH ANOTHER VIDEO HOPEFULLY COMING OUT SOON OF IT ON THE TRACK WITH THE 2S AND 3S.
+12MM HEX BY 15MM LONG WITH M8 NUT ADAPTERS FOUND IN ALMOST EVERY RC SHOP.
+TAMIYA M GRIP TYRES AND M CHASSIS RIM DRILLED OUT TO FIT M8 WHEEL NUT.
SHELL HAS BEEN CUT TO MAKE TYRES FIT.
NEW M CHASSIS TAMIYA 1/10 SHELL HONDA SI CIVIC HAS BEEN ORDERED AND I WILL UPDATE WITH A VIDEO ONCE IT HAS ARRIVED AND BEEN MADE TO FIT.
Great video man. I love this car too. Awesome tyre upgrade! Make more videos on this car!!
Thankyou brother. I'll be putting a new video up of it with 3s lipo soon it's just been to hot over here in Australia to record anything. It's been 42 degrees celsius far to hot to run my RCs.
thanks man looking forward to it! its winter here but it gets really hot here in Greece too!@@DIFFLOCKERS
I found a trick that works for the steering servo issue. Run the dust cover and cut a piece of panty hose (about the length of the red chassis bar) then stretch it over the chassis and tuck the front in towards the center, so there's no gap. It's only good for a single run but it works! Also, you should be able to run foams if you cut the corners down but they may fit right away since you cut the body. Hope that helps!
You have some really creative ideas. I love the tires and the idea of the flairs around the wheel well. I have a 14301 and I to need to find a way to prevent gravel from jamming up the servo. Anyway really hope that civic she’ll works. I’m a huge fan of that car in real life. I wish Mjx would make one more version of this car but make it a street racer. Honda prelude would be my dream but I don’t think the low profile of that car would work with all the internal parts. So i wish you all the luck with that civic shell.
Thanks man im not expecting it to fit but you never know till you try. Really hard to find parts for this im thinking about upgrading to Tamiya tt-02 after this.
Dude I’m right there with you. I’ve been flirting with the idea of a tamiya kit for the last few months. There’s a ford escort one that tickles me fancy
@@Rangoli_rc I brought a tt-02 today I couldn't help myself.
What!? Hell yeah! I want to ask what body style but I kinda want to be surprised by the video.
Try running some panty hose over the dust cover and zip tie or tuck in the front so there's no gaps. Works great for 1 run!
Nice look with the wider wheels. I like this rc a lot..its fast and fun to drive.... just wish there was a 1/10 scale version available
Yea I love it to. 1/10 would be nice
Rc noob to rc noob, I have the monster truck version of this car. Apparently we can press the power button multiple times to get a faster mode. Shells that might fit are pinecone and maybe phat bodies. Lots of parts are shared with this, the pickup truck, jeep and monster truck.
Nice ill checkout what parts are interchangeable. Thanks ✌
would you say 12mm hex extensions would clear the hubs as well? or do you need 15mm extensions
The ones I used in video were perfect length anything less and you'll have issues with steering.
But... you can try 😊
@@DIFFLOCKERS thanks Mate!
where did you order the the civic si shell?
Hi mate,
The one i have is part (#TM 303) M chassis Honda civic SI.
Here's a link to the one I brought
twokeysrcparts.com.au/product/clear-body-shell-classic-honda-civic-si-for-110-rc-mini-tamiya-m05-etc-210mm/
Any M chassis body can be made to fit with a 210mm wheelbase. This specific one is for the tamiya m05 chassis.
Hi can the front wheel alignment be adjusted?
Im pretty sure it is. But I haven't played around with it.
@@DIFFLOCKERS ok thanks
Yes toe In and out can on the front. One to two turns should get it sorted
Would 70% on a 3s be similar power to full on a 2s?
Quicker than that in my opinion
Hi thanks 🙏 would it be much it's only because I bought this car with couple of 3s thinking I was clever but now kinda regret it as it's a bit hot to handle 😂
@@-Astro-- Yeah it's abit to fast on 3S I destroyed the back end with the 3S I find 2S is the perfect balance I hardly use 3S now.
Great you've convinced me 👍. time to order some 2s's and a charger lol. Thanks 👊
@@-Astro-- Didn't it come with a 2s?
Cool I'm a noob too...just got myself a Tamiya M07 seems to be a very good example for M-chassis racing after many hours of research lmao..
*promosm* 😉
