Im so glad boeing reinvented the F15. So happy to have this amazing aircraft in frontline service for decades to come. look at the power of it, love it!
And those weren't even the most advanced models, those were export variants. I was working out on the north side of the airport and got to see unpainted EX's fly, as well as an odd model that had angled tail fins that was not a silent eagle.
I went on Sunday, hands down one of the best airshows I have been to!

I was at the Saturday show and it was awesome! I loved the howl that F15 let out was the highlight for me! So many different jets and planes. Great job Spirit of St Louis Airshow organizers!

Wow, that’s a hell of an airshow ! Reminds me of the old days . Great video edit editing. Only playing I didn’t see fly was the F-16. Other than that, it was all covered. Excellent airshow people were lucky they got to see that .
So this was my first airshow in... probably 30 years or so? The F-14 had been my favorite aircraft and is still very much beloved. But this airshow introduced me to the F-22 and I was instantly in love. The F-15 Advanced also completely blew me away! And the B-2 just looks like it shouldn't be able to fly. Mindboggling. :)
I was there for the Sunday show. It was THE BEST air show I’ve seen ever. I hope they repeat it next year!
Went to a parking lot near the airport to see the blue angels Sunday and they flew over that parking lot low and fast multiple times. Never get bored of the blues.

This is a sort of a show you get when you've got thousands of aircraft and nowhere near as many rules as we have in the UK. pretty exciting stuff. Let's hope it just stays safe.

In the last homecoming show. The Blues don't do the sneak pass the same way.... They have changed it up every time for us in Pensacola. Different parts of the show too each time too

Rumor is the Thunderbirds are getting the new F15 EX.
Many I hope so, F15 Thunderbirds and F-35C Blue Angels would be the dream. Boeing STL office has a mural of the F-15s in thunderbird dress, looks amazing.
@@mobius7089 WHAT!?!? While I think that would be AWESOME, I'd be surprised they'd got "backwards" (in airframe tech) to an old design.
Personally, I figure they'd wait a few more years until the F-22/35 was "old news", and adapt that?

I think I saw the videographer for the channel on Sunday. I was right behind some guy that was right up close to the fence with a video tripod and everything, and from the view where the h-60 in front of him in this vid I think it was.

Where's the Vipers? I'm glad I missed it if they had Fat Amy and not a real fighter like a Viper, it looks like Fat Amy just wheezed its way around the pattern instead of showing any BFM.

Vipers are old sacks of shit that are suicidal in todays environment. I just talked to my instructor who was an F-16 pilot and he straight up said it's a bad airshow airframe too. Doesn't o shit. (hard to see, too quick, can only do fast flat turns) Also Fat Amy blows it away in any knife-fight. "The one rare time I got a rear-quarter gunshot on one, the radar gunsight couldn't even pick her up"

Military planes are all fine and dandy, but seriously it gets boring to see the F-22 do it's tricks time and again. More civilian crafts, pls? More the obscure / rare kind, pls?
Hang out at your local airport of you want civ aircraft.
Showing both bombers and fighters of different generations is a staple of Air Shows with fighters showing BFM that they are capable of. People movers and transports only do non aeronautic flybys. You can go to any airport, like Lambart, and see that.
