Camino del Norte-Stage 3 Zarautz to Deba

Day 3, Stage 3 of the Camino del Norte is a tough one with more miles and more elevation gain (and loss). We begin in Zarautz and end up on a bus ride that ends in the middle of a festival.

Great day and beautiful countryside! Great photography and Ioved listening to the sound of the waves in the beginning with my headphones on. Hopefully that loud music didn’t keep you all awake. This was easy on my eyes.🙂

Love seeing the ocean all the time! How easy is it to follow? Yellow arrows (same as French Way)? Seems like a lot less people than the French Way also ??

Hey Chica! The route is well marked, but just like the CF, cities are sometimes a bit more problematic. We are using Guthooks a lot, too. There seem to be more alternative routes than the CF.
Fewer pilgrims are on the Norte compared to our 2019 CF, but there are fewer facilities and we compete for beds with surfers and vacationers from all over the world.
