Kentucky born and raised, but family is all from Cincy. I crave Zip's chili and their burgers all the time, and I make sure to stop by any time I'm in the area. Cool to have this video randomly recommended to me. Zip's is ingrained in my DNA at this point!
My dad was a self contractor, the memories of grabbing lunch at Zip's, Quatman's or the Silverton Cafe, are the best. Places like you 3 you don't forget. Forever apart of my core memories. Thank you for the delicious food!
Many americans prefer mediocrity and low prices to actual quality, which is why mcdonalds, applebees, and walmart all still exist, despite being liteeal hell holes
I don't really understand the random videos posted on the channel or what it's aiming for, but this video here was perfectly done as if someone had a million subscribers. You could definitely focus on food videos like this and do great. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed it! I am a media production student at UC, and this channel is for any videos I want to make, either for school projects or just for fun. Thanks for the feedback!
I’ve been in the food business for a very long time and the main ideal that I would preach is CONSISTENCY. You said it several times throughout your segment and it should be gospel
I miss living in Cincinnati. I miss Zip's and MLT's. That said, if I can only get one burger in Cincinnati I'm getting a cheeseburger with American cheese, white onion, pickles and mustard at Quatman Cafe every single time.
I'm born n raised in Cincinnati, lived decades there. Never once have I ever heard about this place. And I know many thousands of people, worked in many restaurants.... Ah, enough said
There's no way you're a Cincinnatian if you "never heard of" Zip's Cafe. The only excuse I'll allow you is if you grew up dirt poor somewhere in the west side...or some place like Cheviot and you identify as being from Cincinnati.
@GaryCedestromIII I grew up in Indian Hill and my mom paid extra for us to attend Sycamore, and my mom was filthy rich and a celebrity. No, I will no tell you who we are but my neighbors were Procter & Gamble, Fleischmans etc

Quatmans is my favorite
America needs more restaurants like this one and fewer Chili’s.

As soon as I saw the Tabasco bottle on the tables I knew this place was going to be good and it is!
was just in last week after a round of golf at Reeves. devoured my burger and fries. Reminded me of coming as a child with my family

very nice work!
Awesome! 👌
Sammy's in Blue Ash serves my favorite burgers. I haven't tried Zip's though. Based on the video it looks pretty good.

City View tavern in Mt Adams has great burgers.
I love this place and the fact they are in door dash! Once a week for me
It sucks that more and more places like this are vanishing.
I lived over 30 years in Cincinnati and frequently visit.... Never heard a soul mention this place and I know very many thousands in Cincinnati
Video length checks out.

@@shac9131all you had to do was get out of your filthy rich IH mansion & travel to Mt Lookout to know about Zips.
Looks like your basic Quatman's style burger. I don't know if they are still open but Bard's burgers in Covington seems like it'd be a lot better.
Bards is better
I haven’t been to Zip’s in years. You should have shown the food. People watch these kind of videos to see food.
From what they did show probably best that they didn't.
My House!
Where’s the fucking burger? Show us the burger
If you been paying attention to when they were being made in the kitchen you would have seen it!
Wendy’s 😂
Come over to Covington and find your way to Herb and Thelma's...bring cash, no cards...
They served everyone raw hamburgers and waitresses left to go drink at another bar, only returned every 30 minutes.
Arthur's burger is much better. Especially Burger madness nights
Please edit the video to add 1 second so I can sleep at night.
"Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God."
It was Americans' *duty* to defy Prohibition.
Even if they didn't want to drink. The principle.
Zip's is great! Herb and Thelma's is better!
The ole Chip burger.
I wouldn't trust any food from a city that thinks skyline chili is fit for a trashcan, let alone a human. Fool me once...
That’s like saying you don’t trust food from Kentucky because of KFC
@@orchidtv42 KFC is at least somewhat edible. Skyline isn't fit for human consumption.
@@mattypantsYou always get this disgusted over trivial things? Must be pretty miserable
I wouldn't trust a comment from someone who thinks mattypants is a good screen name
How the hell are you going to make a video about a burger and not even show a single burger you claim to be good on the video?!?!

Well, the burger being cooked was pretty obvious. But, you didn't make it that far in because your lazy ass is cooked.
Just don’t go to Jeff Ruby’s. Screw that company. Woke
Bwahahahaha I used to work there , terrible company , terrible family ,that being said , they are so far from "woke".
