- The best sushi I have ever had is from a mall food court? No way? Blue fin tuna, seared salmon, spicy salmon, poke, dragon rolls, and so many more items were to be had in what very well could be Seattle's (and area) best sushi.. Sushi J. Mike Chen (Strictly Dumpling) came and said this place was amazing so I had to go try it out!! Sushi J was also rated a top 100 restaurants in the USA, and one of the America's best restaurants (for sushi). They get a very fresh high quality product daily and the coast really makes a difference! Tune in as we try what could be the best sushi I have ever tried!! Huge rolls, crab and fresh seafood, yum. A must try in Bellevue (seattle area) Washington.

When I used to live in Michigan, the best sushi I ever had was at a Japanese grocery store called One World Market in Novi, Michigan. Novi has a ton of Japanese immigrants, so there were lots of Japanese restaurants and even a Japanese video/manga store. In the back of the grocery store, there was a little sushi bar and a takeout section with tons of fresh sushi and other fresh Japanese food. They gave you huge portions of fish in each roll for super low prices. A big 8 piece maki roll would be around $4.50. Sometimes the best food is where you least expect it.

I’m not a Sushi expert but I’m 43 on the 28th god willing and I’ve never seen cut rolls that big! Those are monster rolls.
Also, those have the proper amount of rice on the Nigiri like a world class Sushi joint.

Um, no. The fish on the nigiri is at least 1/3 larger than you’d get in a proper sushi restaurant, and the rice is about double.
This is American sushi, not world class sushi.
The quality of the fish looks great, but the preparation is like saying Taco Bell is Mexican.

You really need to try sushi already. I waited a very long time to try sushi for the first time a few years back and I was instantly blown away by it and questioned why I'd waited so long to try it. I now get sushi once a week and would probably eat it every day if the bank account allowed it.
