That series was awesome! Really sucks when an Ump is the talk of the game though. I hope that HP umpire reads these comments and works his ass off to get better or calls it a career! You are there to be consistent at your job sir, not to influence the game the way you did.
He was shitty for both teams at least. Zone was as big as a per wee strike zone.

I've watched three innings of highlights, and I'm already pulling my hair out on these calls. Strike zone is the size of a Buick, terrible out calls at 2nd, man.

One hell of a game! One thing I took in that Wesleyan hit like 1 curve ball that whole game, if I were them that’s all I’d work on till their next game! Or if I’m the team they play next I’m throwing a lot of them! Keep it up tho boys!

I never comment but I have seen a lot of these Wesleyan games. First, the ump was a little ridiculous. Second, the whole team seems to struggle with the curve. Third, drew seemed very uncomfortable game two and three. He usually has a good approach but he was letting fastballs go right by.
They were bending him up mostly. So he was in between speeds in his head instead of key holeing. He will learn. This team tested him and kept him at bay. I played with a kid. Mashed homers in high school. Got to college. Couldn’t hit the bend. But these kids are super talented so they will learn. The ump loved the inside curve hah
Well in game 3 I don’t think you can discredit any kids for having “bad” or “off” approaches. Ump took the bat out of so many hands in a zone that couldn’t even be adjusted to. Nothing beats playoff baseball at any level.
That SS on Paran had bad jumps on balls the whole game… he could’ve knocked down multiple grounders.
I love how after the walk off hit the other team was saying y’all are a good team and telling them congratulations and everything I thank that’s awesome!!!

8:15 ump made an insane call. I had to slow it down for me to actually see he was right.
druw is changing his mechanics, he’s stepping out on his stride and swinging all upper body, he must of gotten hit he looks scared of the ball. if you look at his old mechanics his front leg barley moves and he has a pretty swing.
or he’s just facing faster pitching and has to change his timing

For starters the umpires need to go back to school. Second, the third base coach for Wesleyan needs a little bit more understanding of the game.
I can’t believe he wouldn’t send Druw Jones on a pop up to middle center field, I’m pretty sure drew has like 99th percentile speed in his class
If the ball was within a foot of the strike zone, up, right or left, it was a called strike. I guess the ump wanted to see the boys swinging away. He was a little easier on the white team when it was down 6-0, but equalized the strike zone when the ballgame was tied.

Where to start!! Ump is God awful! Wesleyan hasn’t worked on hitting a curve ball all year. I seen batter after batter go to the plate and not make any adjustments. How are you going to play at the next level. If you can’t hit a curve ball. Not to mention baseball has gonna away from the fast ball. A lot of off speed and sliders/ curve at the next level.

The scoreboard shows NO ERRORS for either team! I saw at least three: shortstop, pickoff attempt and a throwing error where runner advanced...could've missed another's well.

They schedule mainly home regular season games and in the playoffs home field goes to the higher seed. In the case of 2 #1 seeds there is a coin flip to determine home field. Championships are played at professional/college fields.
