Hey, I just changed all of the brake pads (front) & (rear). On my W211 03 E500. I did some research before. But never read anything about disabling the ABC system VIA MB scanner (diagnostic tool). I just came across the videos before this 1. And it showed everyone doing it by disconnecting the batteries & or disconnecting the SBC system. I did BOTH. I disconnected the smaller AUX battery under the hood. The main battery in the trunk. And the connector plug up at the SBC module. Upon installing brake pads. I 0ut the car down. And noticed that the brake wear sensor malfunction was gone. But the BRAKE visit workshop message was still there. I drove it just fine that night for about 15-20 minutes. But the following morning I started the farm jumped in to drive off. And my car slammed (while driving) yes WHILE DRIVING! Lol so luckily I was still in my driveway so I parked. The instrument cluster was lit up in red. With the same message you have in this video. Now my brake system seems to be completely GONE. And my car will not shift out of PARK. I was wondering if you have any recommendations? I found out about this a bit too late. And I'm wondering if I completely damaged the SBC unit. Or if I could just have a MB-scanner clear the system. And reactivate it? I just bought the MB V2.0- OBD2 Scanner. And from the reviews I thought this might work. When I tell people that there is no need to replace the brake pads without decativations SBC, I'm told that you can and without this. Your story is useful to others. I do not know how to help you. excuse me

Hello, is it ok if my car is completely dead with no life in battery and I already started the process of changing rotors and pads? I'm already half way through and I can't turn back now😂 I hope when I get this thing started and going the brakes don't cause no issues for me. Thanks much appreciated 👍

Please keep in mind that I just replaced all of the brake pads and sensors. I didn't not change the speed sensors. Just the brake pad sensors. And brake pads. I failed to disengage the SBC unit via SDS or MB scanner prior to replacement. My voltage issue could be entirely separate.. because I've had a parasitic drain for a while.

Just finished the diagnostic. And honestly, I have no clue on where to begin because of all the fault codes that popped up. But let me briefly state that I will give what I believe to be the more important information I gathered from my scanner. I have a bunch of "P" codes such as, p1860, 1876, 2012, 2000, 2404, 2400, 2401, 2402, 2430, 2403, and 2310.
That's all of the "p" codes displayed.
Now onto the "C" codes.. C2259, C26F5, C2484, C25D9, C2131, C23CE, C2259, C14B7, C160E, C1471, C1411, C1431, C1451, C14B7.
And for the codes with no letters are, 9027, 9026, 9021, 9263, 9022, 9025, 9058, 9001, 9033, 9046.
I know it's a lot to ask but any help would be highly appreciated. I have not yet started to look up each code individually. But it seems like I'm having voltage issues. And I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my current issue of not being able to shift the vehicle out of park. So again, any feedback is welcome and highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Теоретический можно, но я не могу сказать вам можно или нет так как я не попробовал. Также есть вариант отключить акб. Также говорят просто не открывать двери но это сомнительно.

да так тоже можно делать. Многие так делали и ничего не случился. Но бывало случай когда испортился SBC блок. По этому будет осторожно
