“We do not "get over" a death. We learn to carry the grief and integrate the loss in our lives. In our hearts, we carry those who have died. We grieve and we love. We remember.” ― Nathalie Himmelrich
OH MY! We ALL Love You! The lose of your Father is inconceivable but some of us have been there and moved on in the Higher Level. May your Life be showered in Beautiful lOVE. i FEEL soooo SORRY for Your Lose. Listen to THIS 1000 X and you WILL be Healed. :- )))
Bob Dylan wrote and sang this song during his Messianic Jewish period when he found Jesus. It's on his "Christian" album "Slow Train Coming". During his 2 nights singing in Toronto at Massey Hall, his old school fans were upset that he would not perform his song, "Lzy, Lady Lay" as he was in a new period of his walk with God. A few people in audience shouted out to play that sexual song, but be refused. He told the audience that song was no longer part of his Slow Train Coming tour. About a dozen fans started shouting at him and they stood up and walked out. I was there for both Toronto performances in really good seats. Most of Bob Dylan's friends in the music industry stopped talking to him.I Many people don't know that when a Jewish person finds Jesus, even their own family disowns them. They consider that person to be dead and actually hold a funeral for that person. The family force other relatives to disown the person and not even talk to them. Ever. Now you know what a "fulfilled Jew" or Messianic Jew suffers to accept Jesus. From Mark Smyth in Toronto.
It's not a cover song by Dylan. It's an original song written and performed by Bob Dylan in 1979 and after that. He wrote a bunch of gospel songs at that time and he recorded them on these 2 albums: "Slow Train Coming" and "Saved", plus some more on the album "Shot of Love". I suggest you look for those albums.
Thank you Jesus For Bob Dylan... Epic Efforts by all

Bobby wrote this song for me. This is my testimony. After 30 years in the Ministry, Much persecution, not by unbelievers, but by other Christians.
