Luxembourg used to have such exotic composition trains and locos on long distance trains in 1990s the macho looking diesel loco up to Liege, the orange eurocity carriages down to Basel SBB and Zürich and up to Bruxelles, there was even a German train to Stralsund and a red carriage EC to Paris, Now its just boring local train and the TGV to Paris, the train up to Liege is about the most fun.
