My advice to all those who want to go , only those should go who have confidence, don't feel home sick, have no serious health issues and are willing to adjust and don't have any food fads. Also you should be able to adjust to cold environment..
The break point of going outside India to a developed country is the clean environment, no pollution and basic honesty and respect for merit. One has to be a physically active person without an over sensitive personality

While I respect your honesty in sharing how your opinions have changed, it's important to recognize the significant influence you have. Many people, likely moved to Gurgaon because of your influential videos over the past few years.
Having lived in Gurgaon for the past two years, I can say it's not as ideal as your videos might suggest. I wouldn't rank it among the top-tier cities. Cities like Pune, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad perform much better, and Mumbai isn't even comparable.
It seems you might now be considering moving out, which makes sense given your online business. This is similar to Akshat Shrivastava's situation.
Given this, it's important for you to also change your perspective on Gurgaon's real estate situation. You know well that the current market conditions are unreasonable. As someone with a substantial reach, you have a social responsibility to address the issue of inflated real estate prices. Buying a flat in Gurgaon should not be more expensive than buying a villa in a first-world country.
Please use your influence to raise awareness about this issue so that middle-class people can afford something as basic as a home. Your stature goes beyond brokers, politicians, builders, and their vested interests.
    Regards.

The prospects in this country for a general category (also includes ANY category) kid is very low. Today, national politics and state politics is focused on caste and will remain so in the near future. But caste is an very small factor. The overall quality of life in Vishwaguru will decrease as population increases. Jobs are like resources and they will become less and less in number in relation to growing population which will result in a fierce competition even in simple jobs. The education system is completely outdated and, to be honest, is practically useless for preparing a person for professional life. Endless exam cycles, like after 12th CUET-UG then for Masters CUET-PG, then for PhD UGC-NET etc. is making life of an average person more and more difficult. Outside India, although it has to be mentioned that life of an immigrant is very difficult and one will face struggles of different nature, quality of life is superior than that of Vishwaguru. This country is going to be simply unlivable in the future. Temperatures will soar around 55 degree Celsius in near future in north India and on top of it the way things are run with incompetence in this country makes life more miserable. Politicians across the party lines have sent their kids abroad for study and work. From Jaishankar to Supriya Sule to Shazia Ilmi to Digvijay Singh. If one has money then one should consider to get out of this literal dump. Sorry for harsh take on India.

Grass is greener from the other side.. I have been living in Europe for the last 15 years. I came when the situation and day to day live in India was even worse compared to now.
The advice here is not bad, but just shortsighted and good in the initial years. You are encouraging only to go abroad, but not advising to come back in time. In my case also everyone was discouraging to come back. Over the time i lost my parents, now losing touch with my siblings and my village. I can see my self becoming a rootless tree drying up. BTW, this is not my emotion rather my experience saying.
It's a perspective. The more you spend time abroad, the more is the clarity on the perspective. But by then, it would have been too late.
I would advise in pragmatic way,(if your audience would like take it)
    1. Definitely go abroad in your 20s. Earn money and experience, enjoy and LEARN how the quality of life is better there.
    2. By mid or late 30s, gather ideas and come back to India. By then should think of utilising your knowledge and experience in India.
    3. Make India you base. Anywhere you see a problem, think of a solution.
4.Try to keep the root of your children intact with India. If they can do schooling in India, it is far better for their inner resilience.
Last but not the least, no country is perfect, it is the people who make a country beautiful. We must take stand to change the unchangeable. Any Sitaraman or Chidambaran for some 5 year terms should not deter you. It is too late, but painful to see my self that I gave my prime time to a foreign country, rather than my own country. I am still figuring out ways to come back. Had it been 5/7 years ago, it would have been easy.

Not for everyone. I lived in Europe for 4-5 years and returned back. My priority was my family and in general there was a feeling of loneliness with no one to talk to. Time is limited for each one of us and it is important to spend with our loved ones.
You are definitely going to have better quality of life- cleanliness and clean air which we lack. But not everything will go your way. Make a choice in life and go ahead with it. Every person is different and has different goals and priorities in their life.

It can be different if you go to places like Italy but there is hardly any employment over there. Even in sweden job vacancies are quite limited.
When it comes to loneliness, the natives are highly introverted and they stick to their own people. Indians have their own subgroups depending on the region. Not even 28, she has travelled to more than 18 countries solo. Took me also to few. We don't expect anything from her. Her friends too followed her . Now they are in many other countries like Germany, UK, Denmark, Dubai, Singapore, etc. They visit each other. They are living their dream lives. Whenever ask to come home, she says what to do there. And asks us only to go to her. Since kids we made it a point to travel across India. So now they are at ease to travel anywhere in the world. We don't force her to marry. No. Let her do it whenever she wishes. Nothing great about staying here especially future generations. We can show respect to our mother land from anywhere in the world. No need to rot in this system. Indians are respected all over the world. It's my personal experience.

    guruji, yesterday, 22-07-2024.
i was returning from my work, which is 10 kms from my home, it took me 2 hours, on route where it hardly takes 30-35 minutes and you know why?
just because it rained from 30 mins.
all roads were waterlogged, drains overflowing and my route back home is througha commercial area of west delhi where you will see expensive banquet halls, premium car brand showrooms and DLF’s most hotselling township.
i was travelling in my SUV, so i was able to easily traverse through waterlogged street and it got me thinking that issues like these play a big role in migration of the urban, well to do youth.
nationalism is great to make people proud of your nation, but not to fix the issues.

I have been in the UK for the last 30 years, coming here at age 29. I have several friends in other countries and am constantly in touch with India. With due respect, I don't agree with your advice. Going abroad at a young age is easy if one manages to get into a uni or a job. However, once you settle down, it becomes comfortable, and you don't feel like coming back because of children's education. Yes, you have clean water and air, but domestic help is difficult, social isolation is common and cost of living is 4-5 times higher. Most important problem comes when parents in India become old and you are not able to take care of them.
Yes, whose destinty is abroad will do so, and no one can stop them (as it happened in my case)
I feel that one should stay in India and help build our country in whatever way possible. Remember, grass is always greener on the other side.

John Maynard Keynes is often credited with saying “When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?” In fact, the actual source of this quote was not Keynes, but Paul Samuelson, another famous economist.
Regardless of who actually said the words, the sentiment behind them makes intuitive sense to most of us. We do not go through life following a perfect linear path, regardless of what life throws at us. We adapt our plans as circumstances change because doing so makes us better off.

    3. Roads and safety, I just hate this with my core, lost my father due to this in an accident coz it was national highway and it was only one sided road... ( he was a CISF personnel and was going duty at that time, my father was posted in RANCHI at that time)..
    4. No safety, mere Saath kuch ho gaya to main kya karunga, police respect nahi karti.. Middle class ki koi izzat nahi hai ( I've been to police stations for registering FIR for my father's accident and did the FIR works....
    5. Extreme weather... Lekin ya main nahi consider karta as excuse... It's okay
    6. Again safety, aaj mere sath kuch galat nahi hua to its okay and fine for now, lekin agar kuch ho Jaata Hai to koi accountability nahi lega, police waale ke Paas jaayenge to wahan to aam aadmi ki value nahi hai.. Tab kahan jaayega koi.. Khule aam couple ko Maar diya Jaata Hai car se aur usko bola Jaata Hai ki essay likho... Judge biased hai...hospital bhi manipulate kar diya Jaata Hai.. I have a theory-maybe it's a good one. Lol! If your net worth is 7-8 crores or more, there's no point in leaving India for abroad. If it's less than that, consider taking the plunge. Life outside India is either good for the poor or the very rich. Life for the rich is great in India too, but if they still don't like it, they can easily transition.
We should also remember that there's a very high probability India will do very well in the future. What became of China in the last three decades could be the story of India in the next 2-3 decades. Where China excelled in hardcore manufacturing, India could very well win in IT and AI because that's the next era.
Let me tell you a true story: Currently, I live in downtown Toronto, and there's a local convenience store in my neighborhood owned by an older Korean man. He left Korea 45 years ago when his country was quite poor or at least not on par with any western country. His brother came along with him to Canada but went back after a couple of years to take care of their parents. Fast forward to 2024, Korea now has some of the biggest multinational giants like Samsung, LG, KIA and many others. Now, his brother in Seoul, the city which now has the same infrastructure and quality of life if not better, is living a great life driving a Jaguar with a huge paid-off condo in a plush neighborhood. But this gentleman is still here running a small convenience store, driving a Civic, and still trying to pay off his mortgage. Times have really changed in Korea for good in past few decades.
I have similar stories from some Chinese friends too, who came here for a better life when their own country was fighting poverty. But then the tables turned, and China became what it is today, while Canada has worsened since the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and even the 90s. The USA's story is similar too. Life outside your motherland can be a trap-once you get in, it's nearly impossible to get out. Just watch a channel called Nomad Capitalist to know what's going on in the world. Affluent people in the western world are leaving their countries to move to smaller countries for better lives.
Anyway, this is just my opinion. Think carefully before deciding, friends. All the best to you all!

Inflation under control what? The nexus of builders politicians and these so called brokers have inflated the real estate prices by 2x in the last couple of years. 5 cr for a 3 bhk in a city life gurgaon where you dont get fresh air for like 5 months in a year is absolutely ridiculous.
With high real estate prices, everything around you gets expensive. Stop believing the data that you see in Godi media. Ground reality is different.

Bro kya inflation control me hai? govt sirf bolne ko 5-7% bolti hai idhar bijli ka bill double ho gaya hai, sabji, khane ke prices bhi badh rahe hai kitne, house prices bhi 18% bad rahe hai YoY. Rent hi 10% badhta hai every year, actual inflation is well above 10-12%, which is a low estimate. It varies according to your needs.

I can either do something like mba from an Indian b-school and get a job in Tier-1/1.5 city of India or I can go abroad . @@Yippee342 well I would recommend stay in India first and get the job u r telling in the tier 1 or 1.5 city after some work ex of lets say 3 to 4 years you would have enough clarity to whether stay here or move abroad. Pros of doing a Job in tier 1 or 1.5 city in India your touch with family will be frequent, Social development and contact will be there, Life will be easier and slolwy slowly it will compound and u will slowly start getting rich. Cons will be u may be overworked, The salary at first may be less, The relationship with u and yur superiors may be bad, As you r mba then u have to hit your monthly targets, etc.
Pros of doing a job in abroad basic needs like food water and air will be very clean, After few years of hard work u will get a lot of money compared to India (ALthough Inflation also exists there), U can fullfill your luxurious needs lets say u have a dream to own a lambo etc etc u can do it easily.
Cons of abroad- U stay away from family, maybe in 3 to 4 years you may get to visit your family Trust me everybody thinks and say of visiting their family atleast once every year but it becomes 3 to 4 years, No social development or contact means lets say u tripped and fell down the people will just walk by you you have to get up yourself no one will offer even a hand (depends on country though), High prices of everything like if you want to cook Indian food the Indian ingredients cost a fortune, Last but not the least Never expect help from fellow Indians unless u r a tourist. For some reason Indians who have settled there become very egoistic . Search for Mexicans, Russians, south east Asian people like Pilipino or Vietnamese for any help. Another thing things like upi and all the cheap stuff we take for granted are very costly in abroad especially the internet prices.
      Hope i was of help
