I respect poetry that has a political undertone worded into it. But I feel like this type of overtly political, oratorical poetry will do more harm than good. Someone writing an article or giving a presentation can support their claims with facts...but this form of poetry will do little to challenge people's preconceived notions, whether they agree or disagree with the actual position being advocated.
