I burst into tears, especially at the moment where Blitz and Octavia run up to him, and Stolas looks at them like that, with such tenderness and regret that he is dying... Instead of a song of determination, it's so sad with Stolas dying from Stryker's bullet and knowing both he and Stella were miserable from the day his destiny was cast. The troubled but loved Octavia and the always reprehensible Blitzo arrive too late to save him... but at least we get the satisfaction of seeing Stella foiled and Stryker taking a bloody dive.
This scene was a captivating mix of humor, tension, and a dark, almost poetic monologue from Stolas. The way he reflects on his emotions and the idea of unrequited love with a touch of bitterness was beautifully delivered. The blend of self-doubt and haughty arrogance, especially in the lines where Stolas confronts the idea of his destiny, added depth to his character. It’s as if he’s battling between accepting his current state and aspiring for something grander, all while maintaining his regal yet tormented persona.
I know I’m late to the party, but this is PROFESSIONAL! The posing and the way Stolas looks at the pictures with suck despair is honestly breathtaking. I can’t believe anyone was creative enough to make this, seriously one of the best things I’ve seen for ANY show!

Ok... I recently preformed in a musical showing of the musical where the song originated from last fall... and didn't realize it was that song at first until I heard the beginning tune and inaudibly gasped lmao (and also slightly instinctively went on alert because this is the song that played right before one of my scenes, and reprise if it played right before another scene I was in so the beginning tune just sets off my instinct to run backstage lol) I actually love this animation so much!!

Red blood stands out better when everything's in greyscale. Even the show's official storyboard artists do it.
