Long Tongs have been around for decades. I’m nearly 60 and my father had these when I was in my early teens. They are great tool for riveting.

What a time and labor saver. // The $55k sander and the autoangle drill guide are EXTREMELY overpriced. // The Wolfcraft adapter would be worth it if it came with the two clamps, but not by itself. If the connector is $42, the clamps are likely to be $100 a pop, giving you a $484 pair of long clamps. I can make two long 3/4" heavy duty pipe clamps for under $60.
The Billy Goat auger is a great system, but given the lack of any pricing on their website, I'll bet they have one comma (if not 2) too many in their price, too.

at 9:20. How does that measuring device compensate for the distance between the measuring wheel and the saw blade?
you have to zero it yourself. place the wood even with the right edge of the sawblade, and zero the display. then you can use the encoder to measure. you have to re-zero after each cut. I've seen several of these devices on the market, and they are a time saver, just not as integrated as they could be if the manufacturer built one into the saw.

For $500, you could get a decent drill press; however, the great advantage of a portable precision-angle drill guide is that it can be taken to the workpiece or workplace.
Or you can buy it in the UK for ~$40.

@@Tensquaremetreworkshop You obviously are not familiar with Woodpecker tools and their renowned quality. Rutland sells tools that, for the most part, are imitations of original brands. I know; I’ve bought some myself and have regretted every single buy I ever made. As to how and why one drill guide might outperform another is all about precision, durability, and repeatability. A professional, for example, will pay the extra dollar if it guarantees him a precise and consistent result. But if his use is occasional, or if precision is not an issue, then the $40 alternative is a reasonable option.
@@bethoughtprovoking I am very familiar with Woodpecker tools. They aim for the 'jewellery' market- pretty tools to impress the impressionable. $500 is, of course, a silly price for a drill guide. Yes, they are very well made, but not value for money.

I used the riveter in the early 80s, definitely not a new idea
I can go back to the '60s when I was in the motor trade using the same riveter
When I started working in the automotive trade in the early 80's we had a compact hydraulic riveter that could install 1\8 - 1\4" rivets in a split second with a pull of a trigger 🤓

And it's a standard rotary (leaving cross-angle sanding marks) which uses YOUR angle grinder! Ridiculous. Fab one up for under $100. And after all that, it doesn't do corners.

that floor sander price threw me through a loop, until I realized they were talking argentinian money, it's like $550ish in USD though. still a LOT for a sheet metal dolly with some handles welded on, can probably do some basic math, come up with your own designs, send them to a local prototyping metalshop and have them cut and weld it for you just to spraypaint and buy some generic casters and still be cheaper with shipping it both to and from shop.
Unfortunately, NO USA suppliers, Castor m-30 cable Stapler..
Wolfcraft adapter isn’t new either and Irwin have been doing them for years, much smaller and way cheaper..

$55,000 for a motorised sander does not sound right, the angle grinder motor at worst is around $1500 the frame it lays in is definately NOT worth $33,500 a mans yearly wage in some places.
You need to do more homework, we all know Matco doesnt produce any tools, they merely rebrand and sale other manufactures products.
