I really like this in format! Also the obligatory patreon explanation was entertaining and felt like your own personal spin. It's nice to have it explained one to one rather rattle off the perks. Awesome video! I love your art style and you give such detailed and helpful tips in this video. I’ve found that painting gesso onto archival watercolor paper is the best method for painting on paper. That way, the acrylic paints stay right on top of the gesso and doesn’t soak into the paper.
I know this video is a bit old for a comment , but I’d love more videos like this! I’m able to focus on my own art this summer and acrylics are so fun but also still foreign to me. Any tips and talk through are awesome ♥️♥️♥️

I always thought acrylic paint was for painters who weren't very skilled, and I never thought someone could create such beautiful paintings with acrylic paints until I came across your channel! I really hope to be as good as you someday! I’m good at drawing, but when it comes to colouring and painting, I am quite bad at it! Your art is just unbelievable, and I never thought someone could be so talented at using acrylic paint. It just goes to show that it doesn’t matter what medium you have, it’s about how well you know the elements of art. And quite frankly, you know them very well. I love your realistic, but surreal art style and your colouring techniques! Keep up the great work! :D
Thank you!! Acrylic paint is historically a very new medium so it doesn't have the prestige of being an upscale medium just yet. I think it's incredibly diverse and you can do a lot of great contemporary things with it. Thanks for commenting and watching!

Watching you paint reminds me that acrylic takes time and HECK TONS OF LAYERS XD (Duh) I’ve just recently got back into acrylic again after hating it for so long because I tried out oil for the first time (and I ended up hating the fumes, they made me sick haha). The video was really helpful! You’re one of my most favorite acrylic painters out there 💖

There's something about your art that's kinda vintage Ace sci-fi cover art, but like it's been taken to the next level by your color choices. Love it!! Btw, did you mention which card this is?
