It's reassuring to know that I actually figured all this stuff out when building my website. Midjourney for all the background images and chatgpt for the descriptions of products. Really good video.

Exactly! Learning to embrace the tools and technology advancements is a key factor here. Right now, it can't replace a good designer but it can certainly aid them in the design and discovery process of building websites. P.S. I'll be sure to take you up on that pint one day.. lol
@@WPTuts In the ChatGPT playground, there are lots of other useful models (sorry if u mentioned this in your vid lol). You can even ask it to code in a language and convert it for automation apps like Selerium for app testing and site scraping etc. I think its such an advancement its going to change the way we work especially for us freelancers and startups etc. Genuinely Wowed me these tools...
@@nickpage9138 oh yeah, there are some amazing things you can get it to do. It's not perfect and often generates dated code/examples in various circumstances. But, it is only going to get better the more it's trained. :)

I would like to see the private server setup and an explanation or demonstration of more of the variables you can put in the prompt. I liked watching what you did in Figma. My experience with design tools is that I can create some beautiful designs, but even with a slew of different block tools I cannot always replicate what I created. The design you did in Figma will have to be recreated in WP? Or is there a way of using Figma designs live?
Designers need not worry about chatGPT. At first i thought it did most things, like do the actual design LOL...but the people who should be worried about chatGPT are copywriters. chatGPT wrote for me in a few seconds what it took a paid copywriter to write in weeks. I feel for them as most clients will use chatGPT to write the SEO content for them.
I personally don't like Midjourney for the fact it uses discord and your idea's are public. I understand for the free but if they want me to pay a subscription then I don't want my idea's public. I would never use this to get inspiration for a client.
@@Chris...S if it's on discord though it's not hard. It's basically two clicks, otherwise you're in community channels where you share your work but truthfully most people aren't looking at your work but instead focusing on their own prompts.

what about the license of these AI images when applying to website?
Right now, I wouldn't rely on AI to generate final client images (as mentioned in the video). Us them for inspiration and design prototypes.

You can create your own private server which is what I did to create images no one else can see without permission..
