    Yours was about the sixth video I tried in wanting to learn the Magic Ring...and YES, your technique is by far the best and easiest to follow! Thank you!

    These are very cute, they remind me of the spiral sea shell. They would make great coasters if you continue the spiral, which I plan to do...thank you for sharing and taking the time to make this great, easy to follow video!!

    What a GREAT tutorial. I've wanted to learn how to make the spiral stitch and now I get it. I want to make them as coasters in various colors - or hot pads as you can just make them bigger. Thank you!!!!

    Thank you so much for being the best "Magic Ring" Teacher I've found! Finally, I am able to clearly understand this very useful technique for making a circle to crochet large numbers of stitches into :) Very cute ornament, too!

      I agree! SO many times I've tried to learn that and just end up with a jumble of string and frustration. LOL!

    Is there a way to add a third color? I watched the video and then tried making one. As a lefty and being pretty new to crochet it was very easy to follow.

    What if I want to do this for a blanket? Just continue the same thing until I have the size I want? Or do I eventually start doing 1dc, 2dc.. then 1dc, 1dc, 2dc.. then 1dc, 1dc, 1dc, 2dc, etc?

  • @charliewilson1055
    @charliewilson1055 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you turn this into a large one.. Like a blanket?

    Love the spiral. Is there a tutorial on how to turn into a square?

    • @bhookedcrochet
      @bhookedcrochet  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! As of now, there isn't a tutorial to turn it into a square. You aren't the only request though, I'll have to add this to the list!

    To actually do the stitches I'm fine with, but finding it so hard with holding the magic and doing stitches into is there another way of doing this please? I've a problem with my hands so makes it hard holding small things.

      You may want to check out my video "alternate magic ring method". You can start using that method and it's much easier!
