Its a wonderful video which brought in lots of nostalgic memories ...Was here during Nov - Dec 1994, yeah 3 decades back , I am sure the town has grown in leaps and bounds... We , a group of 17 engineers from India were there for a month for training at Rautarukki Oy , steel plant at Satamakangas ( hope i spell it right ! ) .. It was one of the most wonderful and joyous period in life ... For the first time in life , we learnt Skiing , saw Ice Hockey , had sauna bath..Highly friendly and amiable Finnish people .. We visited oulu too and spent a weekend at Lapland ... Would like to see more videos of Finland, especially Raahe ...

@@ATWKate Thank you, I enjoyed being with friends the most. I live in Sweden at the moment which is a bit of a cultural shock and due to the plandemic I haven't seen my friends in a couple of years. I stayed actually in the countryside north of Tampere, in Kuru. Finnish food in general is a major treat, I love the liver casserole and meat-macaroni casserole, simple ready made meals but very tasty.
