My foster dad was a Gospel singer he used to sing this song when I lived with him I was not completely living for The Lord he's passed now but I am so thankful for what he showed me Abt living for The Lord and serving Him. I miss Him but I am so thankful for the spiritual things he instilled in my life I am longing everyday for Jesus second coming so that I may be reunited with him and others who are resting now awaiting his coming. This man filled a void in my life because my real dad backslid years ago. God bless all of you this music touches me I can't stop the tears from falling from my eyes what a blessing

Here’s the story and I’m sticking to it as it’s the truth and nothing but. Throughout my life I’ve been thrown away so much many times I thought my name started with G and ended with E - arbag was in the middle. I’d gotten used to that but when something else happens from some I always remember that difference. There was a lady who was one of our pastors named Madeline Edwards. She is now with the Lord. Years back she invited me to start playing with her in church. She basically played by chords, I by music. She played well, me not so much. As I played along with her I kind of picked up on some of what she was doing also feeling much better inside not being thrown to the side or in the can. I was listening recently to some music and ran across what was her favorite song which was “ Consider the Lilies” which reminded me of the time we spent playing music together now so many years ago. I comment today as how each time I hear the song it reminds me of something good and also the words from the Chorus- “ He really cares when your head is bowed low” are very true.
