My mom used to sing this song when I was a kid. She got sick with cancer and passed away at 48 years old. That’s been twenty years ago and I’m now the age she was when she passed. This song brings back so many loving memories of her and her love for the Lord. I’m thankful we serve a Heavenly Father with eyes full of mercy and love. He’s sure been good to me.

Yes the Lilies are so beautiful and they just grow from day to day---just know how much more God loves us--He sent His Son to change the world --dying on the Cross and Raising from the tomb---the world has never been the same since!!!! I know how He has taken care of me--I have 2 chronic and progressive diseases--for 38 years--I am 62 now--God has intervened more then 20 times to let me live -I was so young and had a husband that could not deal and so I had 2 small sons to raise ---I am so thankful for my Christian parents --they helped in so many ways!!! They are home now!!! They served the Lord together for 73 years of marriage---they were wonderful parents---parenting is the hardest job on this earth--but they loved us and had us in Church--praise God!!!

This is a beautifully written song but the voice by which it is delivered is ASTONISHING. I have been a huge fan of David Phelps for a long time and I listen to him every day for at least a few hours and this incredible song came up unexpectedly in a playlist and I stopped whatever I was doing and just listened to it over and over, at least six or seven times in a row. I've listened to it today around ten times and I know there will be more playings before I call it a night. It is, for me, the perfect pairing of lyrics and vocals and it has taken a place in my head and my heart for the rest of my life. I can't say for certain, but I think I have a new favourite singer (this woman is nothing short of amazing) I definitely have a new favourite song.
