    Jim Bishop has a jaw dropping, amazing terraced property & view. What a labor of love & Plant Heaven. Love the mosaics, gabion walls, bottle walls and what I can see of that spanish house.

    This is utterly fascinating! I saw a hotel in Joshua Tree forest made of bottles. We are going to stay there! Nice to see the shout out to Australia. We really have some beautiful plants out here.

    What a delightful tour. Everything looks impeccable! So nice of Jim Bishop to share his wonderful creations. His descriptions of the nuances of San Diego microclimates was fascinating. When growing such a wide range of exotics , subtle differences in sunlight, moisture, terrain, soil, etc., can greatly influence plant vigor. Getting to know a property and designing and planting appropriately are critical elements in achieving a superior garden. ~ I enjoyed checking out and subscribed to Jim’s new channel.

    Beautiful garden, it was lovely to see the Australian grevilleas growing so well in San Diego. The fractal mosaic is spectacular ... and what a great use of bottles!

    What an incredibly beautiful garden. Being Aussie, I really relate to the grevilleas and eucalypts. I wonder if grevilleas attract birds there as much as they do here.

      Just hummingbirds. Not a lot of nectar feeding birds here like in Australia,

      @P4ndieEy3ss 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jim Bishop I’ve never seen a hummingbird in real life, but a friend who has told me they are tiny. That would bring me a lot of joy to see them feeding off an Aussie native.

      @@P4ndieEy3ss Yes they're thumb-sized. Hopefully Jim will get a photo. I show one at my feeders, and you can hear it hum! th-cam.com/video/0QY4qk1NqZY/w-d-xo.html

    Debra I have a question for you: if you handle an echeveria and wipe some of the white powder off and it leaves a fingerprint, well the plant make more powder and hide the print? love your videos.
