I was there on holiday when they were doing this and the difference it as made to the beach is astonishing! the tides and the wind will only enhance this work .The tides cannot get that far up the beach now because it is so much higher.

@@tonyflemming1060 wrong it is already being eroded . 2 weeks of fantastic beach and in the last 2 days at least 4ft of sand has already gone revealing the damage that the van oord operatives have done to the timber groynes . who is responsible for this ?
