It's nice to see a lab that's not overweight, I have a black lab bitch and she's naturally of a slim build. Many people come up to me and say "aww no she's too thin" or something like that. (She's not too thin, she's a perfect weight) it's just that so many people are used to seeing fat labs.
Yes I know exactly what you mean, Molly hasn't had her first season yet so not been spayed, they can have a tendency to put a little bit on after that but hopefully with all her walks and playing and food control we'll keep her nice a slender.
It depends on the dog, English labs are heavier and slightly shorter than American labs. The title English and American refers to a different breed standard rather than geographic location. Molly seems to be an English "American Lab" Either way she is a beautiful dog.
She's very similar to my black lab as she has a nice slim build, I'm guessing her parents or at least on of her parents are from a working background. Lovely dog!
We have her family line paperwork but not looked into it really. I think she's from the Sandringham line. Her mum had a slim build and we have a photo of the father, who was a rather handsome looking dog.

I adopted a pure bred black lab female. She is amazing. She only cares about me and ball, mostly ball though. She is super loyal but also super friendly.

+Bex88 labs and golden retrievers LOVE water. thats why they are great duck hunting and rescue dogs. if you look at her paws, youll notice that between the toes they have extra skin. almost like swimming webbing

She had a weigh in last month and she's 25kg which is a good weight for her to be at so will keep an eye now she's been spayed.
TheCursedOne maybe she is in medium weight... you better check with worm problems...worms may show a thin appeal
