No but operation paperclip was where usa rescued every nazi scientists in a exchange deal...hence why general patton was killed by the president of the usa and at that time was a real black ops operation that was whistleblowed.
Did you know why company of heroes (im talking about coh 1. 2 is good, but 1 is better) is superior comparing it to all that rts games today, (superior to men of war to be more specific) ? because all of them move like toys. When you watch company of heroes, you can see very realistic movements. They move like real men running and being watched from the sky, while men of war... even having better graphics men of war have bad animations. looks like toys.
Except it isn't. CoH's animations are subpar when compared to MoW's and the rest of the mechanics are nowhere near the level of complexity of the latter: cover is a joke (soldiers in high cover won't be hit even if you shoot at them point-blank), special abilities make little sense (why do I need to spend ammo points to throw grenades instead of equipping my soldiers with them) and the concept of supply is non existant, to name a few. CoH is an easy to pick up game which does not require much set up if you want to play around immediately (skirmish and standard RTS set up), but it doesn't hold a candle to MoW as soon as you start getting deeper.

greekmarine very true. I know they had them longer in use for sure, into the 80s. I think the germans had to discontinue them after the war.

This is alternate history. This mission was about Germany recapturing Berlin a year after the Soviets defeated them, hence why the year is 1946.
