Isn't it nice that their is an establishment such as New Orleans Sandwich Co. that has the Cajun influence of New Orleans. Love the fireplace in the middle of resteraunt. Love the doors in between the booths. There was so many offerings. Shrimp and fish platters sound good. John got the crab cake po'boy I do love crab cakes. Fried Pickles very tasty. Love the shrimp platter fries, Had the salad and the toast as a bonus!!!! Just a nice locally owned resteraunt. So homeade. Prices were wonderful for the amount of food you get!!!! Love the $1 on the wall idea. Helps one or 2 people to help keep the lights on!!!

Shrimp looks great. Enough there for two! The crab cake po boy looked delicious also. The roll looks like it has a nice hard crust, which is a must for sub/po boy type of sandwich. The little girl ads to the video, nice touch. Good to see a unique place on your channel.

My favorite place to eat in Gatlinburg! Before my husband passed away we would go every time we went to Gatlinburg! My favorite thing was definitely the shrimp platter!
We've eaten there a few times when we've visited. I've gotten the Shrimp Platter and the Gumbo before. Love the Fried Pickles. We're from New Orleans and the Shrimp definitely tastes like Gulf Shrimp. Delicious!
Look like a very nice Restaurant I would be disappointed to l love oysters but the shrimp looked very good. I am going to get over to theFireside Taven in Lancaster.last Monday I was going but they are close on Mondays. I didn’t Forget about those oysters they look good too😀 Thanks for sharing

We went there some years back. The gentleman (family member) sat with us for a few minutes and talked about his restaurant and family. Those folks were some of the nicest and caring people we've met in the Smokys. The food was fantastic! Can't wait to get back down there.
You've found my wife and my go-to that we never fail to visit when we are in Gatlinburg. I always get the seafood gumbo and my wife either gets the shrimp Po-Boy or some other shrimp platter. We've never had a bad meal there. And yes, we've met the owner, the grandmother and the children. Very nice folks who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

Sorry to be negative but we will not eat at at restaurant that serves our food on paper plates and styrofoam cups, I’m not outside at a picnic bench. What a cool place! The dollar bill idea is so unique, not to mention awesome. I'm surprised the bank would accept the money with all the writing and coloring all over the dollars, but...well, it's for a great cause . Loved the snazzy music you used, too!
I was very impressed by this establishment. You could tell real Cajun folk were operating it! I would bet that the shrimp were from Louisiana Gulf waters because you said they tasted so good! When you go back promise me you’ll try the fried okra, it’s super delicious and my son who is a very picky eater loves them! I think you will too! I just ordered some Andouille from a friend down in Louisiana who is legend for his Andouille. After watching this review I can’t wait to get it so I can make some Cajun goodness! Love the charity too! You too have a wonderful Sunday you guys make my day when I watch you!!

Looks like a good place to eat. I liked the red doors 🚪 between all the booths they offer a bit of privacy. Also, when shrimp 🍤 is prepared like that you can eat the tails.

I'm curious about vlogging in restaurants. 1. Do you have to ask permission to film? And....2. How do you keep from gaining weight??!! I know when I traveled with my sisters, we use to have just 2 meals a day.... breakfast and an early dinner.
We have never asked for permission. It's free advertisement for the restaurants. We only eat two meals a day when we are on vacation. We don't eat a lot when we are home. Thanks for watching 😎😎

just ate there, this place was terrible got the roast beef po boy nasty served on plastic plates looked like it was thrown together. plastic cups, they had a big screen TV there was some movie about preacher going around killing people not necessarily a great thing to be looking at. don't think the owners really cared whether we were there either way. take the sandwich apart ate a little bit of a roast beef. wife's got a crab cake we're from Maryland so we know a crab cake supposed to be and that's not it. 50 bucks down the drain but we had to go in order to know😢
The food looked really good and the fireplace is very nice, but I do not like the idea of dollars being stapled to the walls, it kind of reminds me of when you see at theme parks, when kids push their chewed up bubble gum all over the trees. It's very unsanitary and unattractive.

Looks like a good place to eat. I liked the red doors 🚪 between all the booths they offer a bit of privacy. Also, when shrimp 🍤 is prepared like that you can eat the tails.

I'm curious about vlogging in restaurants. 1. Do you have to ask permission to film? And....2. How do you keep from gaining weight??!! I know when I traveled with my sisters, we use to have just 2 meals a day.... breakfast and an early dinner.
We have never asked for permission. It's free advertisement for the restaurants. We only eat two meals a day when we are on vacation. We don't eat a lot when we are home. Thanks for watching 😎😎

We have some videos from Memphis restaurants as we got married at Graceland and are Elvis fans. Memphis is 800 miles from our house so we don’t go a lot to Memphis.

Visiting on April 1, 2024 for spring break one week 🙏, have this place on a to do list, liked the fried pickles and shrimp platter, but unfortunately the breaded crab cakes and any battered sea food on a poorboy, needs to be enjoyed without bread 😱

Just wanted to mention all of the shows review l have not seen people of color, is that part of Tennessee all white? I'm multi-racial so I see no color only nice people when there nice.
We are not from the area . But when we visit I have seen people vacationing that are from all different races.😎😎
No. There are people of all colors there. Go there. Open your eyes. Been there many times. Never met a racist there. Sad that people judge everything from TH-cam.
just ate there, this place was terrible got the roast beef po boy nasty served on plastic plates looked like it was thrown together. plastic cups, they had a big screen TV there was some movie about preacher going around killing people not necessarily a great thing to be looking at. don't think the owners really cared whether we were there either way. take the sandwich apart ate a little bit of a roast beef. wife's got a crab cake we're from Maryland so we know a crab cake supposed to be and that's not it. 50 bucks down the drain but we had to go in order to know😢

The food looked really good and the fireplace is very nice, but I do not like the idea of dollars being stapled to the walls, it kind of reminds me of when you see at theme parks, when kids push their chewed up bubble gum all over the trees. It's very unsanitary and unattractive.
I thought the idea of the dollar bills was pretty neat. After the wall gets full, they give the money to charity.😎😎
