One of my best friends is Muslim from Afghanistan and im a devout Christian from Puerto Rico. We bring each other peace and kindness in our conversations. Find common things and focus on that while being open to listening to things we disagree on. I would die for this man. Like most of us, most Muslim people want peace and are good people. Cant reach people if we cant put our egos aside long enough to listen. I pray for my Muslim brother's and sisters as well as my Jewish brothers and sisters that our hearts may be softened and our arms wide open. God is love. While the Gospels frame Jesus death on the cross and resurrection as something that has to happen (Even Jesus himself said so. Find common things and focus on that while being open to listening to things we disagree on. I would die for this man. Like most of us, most Muslim people want peace and are good people. I am a Muslim. And Islamic canon says that all mankind is created equal, but there is a caveat. The only thing that makes someone better than someone else is the difference how much one fears Allah. And please, don’t misconstrue this as an affirmation that god is like some frightful monster you have to fear cos he can so violently smite you dead in an instant fell swoop! Well yes he can do that and has done just that many times. God IS monster against those who dare him. BUT, bani isreal was chosen in their time to led ppl to right path, because God send so many prophets in them and they were basically the children of Yaqub as( who’s another name was Isreal, which the servant of God). But when they killed their prophets and corrupted thier scriptures, God punished them. They’re no longer the chosen ppl bcz they went against the word and commands of God.
