Chinese Arts and Crafts: Wooden Movable-type Printing

Wang Chaohui is a“genealogy-printing master” in Rui'an, Zhejiang province, whose genealogy-printing handicraft handed down from generation to generation in his family. He has enabled us to witness how the“movable type," one of the Four Great Inventions of Ancient China, has been preserved, making it the "living fossil" that China has left to the world culture.
