My husband and I tag team. We have six-year-old twins that do best when math, phonics, and handwriting are done individually, so my husband does math with one while I do phonics and handwriting with the other, then we swap. It saves me from having to teach all three subjects twice, and we finish in half the time.
What a great system you have going! We also find that those subjects are best taught individually (often even when children are working on the same level), how wonderful that you and your husband are able to work together so that everyone can have that individual focused attention, short lessons can be completed efficiently, and you have the rest of your day free!
