Love the vids, have been following for a while now but i gotta ask, is there any plans to get the lightning kayaks over to the UK/EU because id love to get one in the UK? Only real alternative is a hobie but they are just so much more expensive and i actually prefer the looks and features on yours rather than theirs. Much Love Catch a monster

Thanks for the inspiration, Rob! I have several bags of tilefish that I caught fresh about 6 months ago. My wife mentioned them a couple of days ago, as in, "I think we should throw this out." I stalled. Then you came out with this. You are the man. And, its good to see Max back on the channel!

Do you have an opinion on a cooler bag for keeping slots vs a stringer? Does the fish on the stringer tug on your kayak enough to make a difference?

Whole family went crazy over the fish cakes, I used snakehead instead of redfish, if you didn’t know that it was fish you would think it was a crab cake thanks for the recipe

Love chickenboy lures, I use them up here in Oklahoma in the lakes and rivers, never know what you're going to hook up on, caught catfish, largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, hybrid and striped bass all on them

I watch RX Angler channel and he uses Skelly swim and this other bait for Reds. I would look at what he uses, he slays Reds and Spotted Trout.

Why would they stay in the marsh as long as possible when minnows and shrimp start leaving soon after the tides changes? Reds and flounder stage at the spots where the marsh empties into a bay.
Not in my experience
@@YakFishField yeah fishing in South Texas is different than Florida but in my experience about an hour after the tide starts dropping and the bait starts heading out the flounder and reds are staging and nailing the bait. Have a good one!
Hello Robert, I am writing to you from far away in Somalia, I watched many of your very helpful videos, and I have 3.95m kayak of which I tried to launch at the beach head on to the waves, never done before and I made it to the calmer water, I am building all from new, I made the 2 wheel cart, sorry Somalia is not USA, we don't have free available Walmart super store, and I glued a keel protection with tire tube and with tire puncture repair glue temporarily, I know it is laughable, but on the hand tire tube is better than nothing, I am getting towards the heating plastic etc. My question to you is why the some people use milk crate which is perforated, i,e, not waterproofed where if kayak flips your items will get wet or lost if no lid, I seen some are solid and closing, but most of ones I seen are not protecting. My second question, considering that I am at the Gulf of Aden red sea, and fish are big, do you come across during your fishing times a large fish, where the drag is immense, and do you have kayak stability problems, I am preparing myself for this eventuality, not to flip the kayak at the ocean. Smooth marsh is different to wavy ocean. Finally On PFD, unfortunately we don't have shops with this product, so I use for now a orange life jacket, not designed for the kayak, but until I reach UK London I have to use my general life jacket, things are easy when you have amazon and Walmart close by, thanks in advance.

My first time Kayaking and this Kayak held strong. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4k5UrhC3v_Y4hIEaXLGvHcN5a5aBmZNB The water got pretty rough as a speed boat zipped by me, and the Kayak withstood it (I expected to be capsized). The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!
