strobe lighting raises you above others who only do natural light photography
Thanks for the help with the strobe lights, here every shop in CZ is totaly overpriced. It really helped to get to know other brands. Ordering from EU shop which will delivery it in 2-8 days with price difference of 200 euro is really funny. Good advice as always.

I use a Canon E2000D Rebel T7 with a 18mm - 55mm lens. But plan to get a 75mm - 300mm telephoto lens. I have a bunch of lens filters and two macro lenses.
Get a 50mm. Lazy shooters use zooms. They are slow and slow. Primes for the win. Zoom with your feet. Get a 200mm get a 300mm. Get a 85mm get a 35mm

I'm an IT professional and began taking an interests in photography. My heart sank when you said a mac is essential haha. Maybe one day I will cross over to the other side. Keep up the good work with these very informative and educational videos!
IT is needed in the PC world because it's full of non creatives. Mac supports their creatives in every store for free. PC's are for worker bees. Macs are for makers. It's why the creative world runs on macs. I'm just telling you how it is. You can choose to stay on your "I'm a PC" side if it works for you.
@@stevecarty I here you brotha. Once i'm no longer green in this world photography i'll likely get a macbook specifically for creation. Right now I have to graduate from phone photography and get myself a "real" camera and lens.

I am listed in the podcasts here on TH-cam. I am considering making audio only versions of specific episodes. Seems there is a desire for them. Most of my content is heavily visual so audio only misses much of the point or I would have done it earlier. Especially this Amazon pro gear video. I show everything im talking about.

Going with a sony ar73 and the idea of macro has me excited. I'm normally street.
Would a 50mm macro allow me 2 still shoot some street portraits? 🤔

50mm macro isn’t actually a true 1:1 macro lens, but it will act as a good starter prime. Don’t buy into the macro on a 50mm unless you can get closer than 6” 10cm

Hi Carty! Would you recommend Godox lights as alternative for the beginning? It seems that here I cannot find the Neewer light…everybody seems to be using Godox but I would love to hear your opinion! Thank you!
you can use godox, apurture, neewer, and so many others .. it's just about the quality of the build. godox is getting love as is apurture. for photo lights i'd do strobes over LED.
