    Most of the brands mix lead in the making of cast iron.
    Choose carefully.
    Lodge brand is a bit costly but to good to invest as it is one time.
    You can pass on to generations.
    Use salt powder to clean, don't use soap. If you really want to use soap...use mild one.
    Don't use tissue to wipe as the lint gets stuck on the surface instead use lint free towel or cloth.

    Just wanted to know that how’s your experience with 12 pits appam pan. Means beech main heat jyada lagne se jaldi pak jata hai. Aur sides main pakne main der lagti hai kya. Aapne chota aur bada size dono use kiya hai. Agar ek lena ho to kaisa lena chahiye. 9 pits ya 12 pits
    I m plannjng to buy one of cast iron. Pl reply

      I ordered a 9 pit paniyaram pan from MM Abdul Kadhar brothers in Madurai. His rates are very reasonable and he sent it to pune with good packaging. Took courier charges but reasonable than Indus Valley and all others. You can check his page on youtube. You can go through his catelogue too

    Hum log peetal,tamba aur steel k bartan use karte hain khana banane k liye aur serving ya store karne k liye glass k bartan use karte hain 😊👍

    cast iron me khana pakane ke bad ,kadhai se nikalakar rakhana padata hai kya? iron ki kadhai me se nikalkar rakhana padata hai isliye puch rahi hu.kya hum roj ki roti cast iron ke tawe pe bana sakate hai ?

      Bartan season kiya ho to khana nikal kar rakhne ki jarurat nahi padegi. Ha roti bana sakte hai ..

    हमारे घर में पीतल मिट्टी और लोहे के बर्तन इस्तेमाल होते हैं। एल्यूमिनिम घातक बीमारियां लगाता है इस लिए सबको इसे avoid ही करना चाहिए।

    Main bhi 5 year se cast iron ke bartan use kar rahi hu isme oil bahut kam lagta hai aur chipakta nhi hai....
    Bas yeh aur bartano ke mukable bhari jyada hai aur rakh rakhao jyada karna parta hai....

    Shallow fry karne ke baad pan ko dhona jaruri hai ya as it is rakh sakte hai....kyunki shallow fry me water ke saath contact me nhi aata rust pakadane ke liye.
    . Please guide m beginner

      You cannot store them without seasoning back as they rust. Wash them and apply oil and then store.
