Now I finally understand why my cousin would never shut up and sit in one spot when she was trying to memorize things for her exams. She was probably, for better for for worse, using this method to memorize unconsciously.
Now we will never forget the poor puppy who is throwing up in the toilet :) I used this method a lot in school and college and it really is a great memory hack, especially when it comes to remembering things for years. So I guess the poor dog will be memorized for eternity :) great video
I realise that I used this method before I knew about it... I did it with games, Call Of Duty, Need For Speed I relate certain parts of maps in a game with something I learn or with persons... Amazing video!
Hey man, I've been watching your videos for some time and they are really great and inspirational. The world need more people like you! I'm looking forward to collaborating with you in the near future ;) Keep it up!!
InsightJunky once I reach 1,000 subs I will make a video that you can put on your channel! I would be honored to show your videos on my channel, more people need to see ur stuff. All the best!
what if we have to memorise long facts. Like history facts for e.g. Its not like just words we have to remember but we have to remember who did what on a particular date. Can you please give me an example on how u would memorise these?
Wow this is awesome! I'm going to use this to memorize the chords for my guitar covers. I'm having some trouble at the moment- I'm learning them too slowly lol!
+Anita Lauren practice Anita. You can watch my video on how to become talented to learn how to learn a skill. I described how I learned to play the guitar. :)
Basically you plant images in your mind because our mind works on images/pictures and remember them accurately, seems like a good method but creating a story for each anchor point is rather draining and what about people who visits very few places and have fewer memory palaces. Also,I would like to know how effective is the pomodoro technique? Good video, keep up the good work
This is a good video but I have one question: How do I remember things "on the go"? Like, when I do not have the time to sit down, how do I remember a phone number or such? Is there a way to store things faster?
You can remember a phone number by first assigning symbols to each digit, then putting them in your memory palace. The more you practice, the more you'll be able to do this on the go :)
+Marlin Abogo I think it would work especially great for anatomy. You can use your body parts as anchor points. Or anyone else's ;) The sky is the limit with this one
Neat, but any tricks on how to erase or adjusting position for the stuff that you just put in your palace? Sometimes i have stuff that i don't need anymore but don't know how to "un-memorize" them.
It was not that bad. I mean not as good as it is in other big channels but what you said was totally understandable. If you can buy a better mic do it but if you already have a good mic maybe the problem is with the amp. If you cant then dont worry the audio was totally usable and you could always update your equipment as your channel grows. Anyway great videos, keep up the good work mahn!
