How to put a car on jack stands

This is a quick video showing how I put my Mini Cooper on jack stands. The car is very low to the ground and was too low for my jack.
Now the car is on jack stands the next videos I will be removing the front end and then the engine

Thanks algorithm! I was searching for a guide to safely lift my R53 JCW up on to jack stands - saw your thumbnail and recognised the car immediately just from the door shape!
I love my mini, it had been neglected and left parked outside for a couple of years when I bought it - but it was cheap and it’s surprisingly easy to work on. Even better, parts to repair common issues are actually reasonably cheap.
I’ve subbed and will be watching your whole series :-)

What if your car only has the pinch welds behind the tires and no other way to lift the car to place the stands? That’s the issue I have with my impala.

Not sure, you want to make sure you are not just lifting where there body panels are. It needs to be on the frame for support.

no thats wrong, jack the car in the middle at the front cross member subframe and use the 2 jack stands on the sides, thumbs down
