    I remember my husband dying...I was really happy when he stopped suffering. The expression on the face and the open eyes - I believe in the sincerity of what is written and I am glad that Freddie was so loved that he was not alone at the most important moment...when our time comes, I wish everyone peace and eternal happiness with God. I know God loves us beyond words...and He put love for Freddie in our hearts when the time came. Mine only arrived a few months ago, and I'm already 69. I am very happy that this wonderful Freddie's energy is now in my soul - it eases my pain at the loss of my husband, and father and mother - all three passed into eternity within three years.

    I remember getting a copy of that book and reading it cover-to-cover. What an amazing story packed into the 7 years Jim and Freddie were together! Freddie's spirit will live on!

      Too bad most of it was lies which Jim admitted to at least but it doesn't excuse the fact that he put both Freddie and Mary in a bad light because Jim was a jealous and angry man.

      Freddy, I love you and your voice. But if you do not tell God that you are sorry for your way of life, you are going to HELL I'm sorry for saying this because I hope you have BIBLE near you. We don't know what you said to our Lord

    I actually went to the Freddie Mercury exhibition around six times because I live in London five minutes away from the exhibition and my dad new Freddie Mercury very well because he was head of lighting for live aid queen at Wembley and many more but I’m really pissed off right now don’t get me wrong it’s good to do an audiobook but there was the Jim Hutton audiobook on TH-cam that was around four hours long it was amazing and there was no comments I literally like to video and the next week it was deleted even know it was on TH-cam for around 10 years what the hell is going on with TH-cam it’s disgusting anyway I’ve got a lot of private pictures of my dad with Freddie Mercury which I’m so pleased

    There are reports from others in Freddie circle that say there are a lot of discrepancies and some self-contradictions in his book. Other have said that Dave Clark was not in the room with Freddie but was down stairs. They say he lied about being gifted a car he had no car of his own. He exaggerated his job as gardener and fails to mention that Freddie continued to have other two gardeners come in weekly and he lied about his house being a “retreat” for he and Freddie. No one can remember if Freddie was ever at his house . He lied about Mary Austin unceremoniously throwing out of Garden Lodge for no good reason. And Freddie did not say in his will Hutton had a home at Garden Lodge after his passing

    You do know that Jim Hutton retracted a lot of this don't you in later years. He was not in the room when Freddie passed there was only Dave Clarke present. Jim actually lied a lot in that book, and admitted it. However to make you feel better Mary said he died with a smile on his face when she saw him which she said in a very recent interview.

      This book gave people the idea that Mary was evil and didn’t spend much time with him while he was dying. Then one of his other friends mentioned that she stayed by his side for hours and hours. Jim seemed dishonest.

    • @jodawson5268
      @jodawson5268 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @GreySkye-yl8ym Yes but wasn't mentioned that Mary was heavily pregnant at the time and also had a little toddler to look after. Sheo still was there for as much as she could be. Jim admitted he wrote a lot to get back at Mary.

    why is anyone wondering that Freddie Mercury mainly considered Mary Austin and his family. At least they didn't "process" any deeply personal knowledge in books.

      @gregoryvincke ,God I'm so sick of this attitude to Mary. What on earth do you expect her to do? She has looked after Freddies things for over 32 years, in pristine condition. She is now in her 70s and wants to put her affairs in order. She knew Freddie didn't want his things in a museum and is following his wishes to the letter. For goodness sake she just wants to put the burden down and get on with what's left of her life, and I personally don't blame her.I love Freddie always have but I think she is doing the best she can for the memory of a man she loved to bits.

      @@jodawson5268 Well said. Mary has given her entire life to Freddie since she fell in love with him when she 19 years old, was happy to live in a one bedroom flat with him and paid their bills so broke Freddie Bulsara could make Queen happen and she stood by his side until the day he died and all she gets from the Hutton fans is grief. Hutton was an opportunist who wrote a book that made himself look like the big catch and how Freddie had to pursue him while making Freddie's true love and dearest friend Mary Austin sound like a horrible person. Jim even went so far as to claim that he thought Freddie's ashes are buried under Freddie's favorite cherry tree at Garden Lodge and I have zero doubt had Freddie left his ashes to Jim, we are would know the exact whereabouts.
