That was some crazy dedication. Most players get over excited when they block one shot and start pounding chest or whatever... this guy went back into the court after almost falling on the ground to block another shot. Crazy!!!

Yes, dear." Then somebody recognized him. Got super excited, "Hey! Aren't you Dikembe Mutombo?" And, Mutombo just smiled, nodded, "I am. That's me." I don't think it's possible to fake that level of kindness and humility.
So sad to read of his passing. May you rest in peace, Dikembe. An absolute legend of a man on, and even more importantly OFF the court through his humanitarian efforts in The Republic of Congo.

Tim Duncan and Mutombo are one of the best shot-blockers I’ve ever seen. They almost always keep the ball in possession and they don’t try to spike the ball far but instead they just tip the ball and get the rebound. Very masterful.
