I have a few reason I just...don’t like him.
1. He is a bit of a sexist, which sometimes I see him come off to be.
2. He posts toxic tweets that encourage others to possibly send hate to the people mentioned in them.
3. He takes credit for some of the things Obama actually accomplished.

This might seem random... but I wish America was more like Disney. Just think of the iconic Disney intro that plays at the beginning of every movie. Imagine America being like that. It could've been such a great country. "The New World" offered an opportunity to start from scratch and fill the land with glory and beauty. Of course, I'm not saying that it was right to take the land from its indigenous peoples, but that's another matter. Instead, we built garbage, particularly during the post-WWII period. Imagine America matching the inspiring and magical vibe of Beyoncé singing The Star-Spangled Banner. If I was in charge, I would let Disney's Imagineers, the people who design Disney's projects, create a vision for America's future. I would let them plan this country and create awesome designs. Unlike most planners and architects, they are truly creative people that know how to create beautiful places.

I love her approach to this specific opportunity to sing the anthem. Beyoncé is a SMART SINGER. She’s always aware of who’s in the space. She knows how to read a room. She gels with the music perfectly. It was very presidential, classic & it felt timeless. You don’t have to be a fan to give credit where credit is due for SHEER PROFESSIONALISM- even in the cold and with in-ear sound challenges she nailed the performance. And the Obamas just love her. I loved to see the connection she had with them during their reign. Job well done.🏆🥇🎖️

Even though I love when singers sing national anthem in a very high key to show off their range and make it super powerful, I loved how she sang it in a normal key and just in a heartwarming way. And she still added a high falsetto at the end and some belts. Loved it! The vibrato was also magical.

She sang ALONG with a prerecorded track, no lip sync. She listened to herself sing so she can be on beat. That's it.
