I love her approach to this specific opportunity to sing the anthem. Beyoncé is a SMART SINGER. She’s always aware of who’s in the space. She knows how to read a room. She gels with the music perfectly. It was very presidential, classic & it felt timeless. You don’t have to be a fan to give credit where credit is due for SHEER PROFESSIONALISM- even in the cold and with in-ear sound challenges she nailed the performance. And the Obamas just love her. What's so amazing about her is she's SO talented. While singing, most singers have a earbud type thing in their ear. She can hear all the beats that the band is playing behind her, and it helps her hit the notes. (I guess, not a professional musician). During this, it stopped working. You can see her take it out and listen to the band without it. Most people dont understand how difficult this is. It really shows how talented she is. You can see this at about 1:21 . They even explained it in the video, but not in detail.

From the very beginning when she sings the very first word of the song, you can hear her voice along with the track. She got a lot of scrutinization over this for no reason. The woman is phenomenal. We all know how great of a singer she is. Even if she did completely lip synch here, it would've still been along with HER voice recording that SHE recorded.

What's so amazing about her is she's SO talented. While singing, most singers have a earbud type thing in their ear. She can hear all the beats that the band is playing behind her, and it helps her hit the notes. (I guess, not a professional musician). During this, it stopped working. You can see her take it out and listen to the band without it. Most people dont understand how difficult this is. It really shows how talented she is. You can see this at about 1:21 . They even explained it in the video, but not in detail.
