He could dribble, could pass excellently well, could shot from distance and score, could take free kicks and score, could create great assists for others and had great pace, power speed and strength.... I remember when Yaya exchanged passes with Silva, I always thought I was watching the Spanish League and not the premier league. Most importantly, he dominated the midfield against all opposition in his time. Yaya in his prime has to be one of the greatest midfielders of all time. Very similar to Seedorf in so many ways. Another all time great Seedorf was.

I’ve been a city fan all my life and it would mean everything to me if Yaya gets a statue he was my idol growing up there will never be someone like him i know things has happened since he left but his agent is to blame without this man we wouldn’t have won so many trophies 10/11 fa cup 13/14 league 13/14 league cup he gave it all in the 8 seasons he played for us and deserves a statue just as much as David Silva

A truly great midfield powerhouse who could change the game with his brilliance. I would put him above De Bruyne simply due to his presence as a player. He had everything you need from a player who was intelligent, brave, strong and had one helluva shot.
